I’m sorry it was disappointing. They didn’t have falafel and it took them forever to make me a Shawarma which didn’t even taste that good?

One of the best I’ve been to in Ohio, they are also the only one who Carrie’s my favorite labneh and their home made baklava is to die for… every time the staff is friendly.

Awesome people that work here! They always are kind and you leave laughing! Their fresh pita bread gives me a reason to live honestly, it’s like eating my grandmas fresh baked bread! 10/10 recommend

This local market is a hidden gem! If nothing else, you MUST go here for the fresh pita! It's currently $3.50 for 10 and baked fresh daily - the best pita I have ever had, so do yourself a favor and drop by this week. PRO TIP: If you're plugging it into Apple Maps, it comes up as "Jerusalem Food and Bakery!" The shop itself is very unassuming, tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. And don't let the infrequent Yelp reviews fool you - this spot is very much alive and well!! Would also highly recommend the meats at the butcher counter - very reasonably priced. Got 2 lbs lamb for $13 and great advice on how to prepare it. Overall a wonderful local market I would highly recommend visiting!

I came in on a Tuesday 2/22/2022 morning and I walked in and said hello and the person who works there was not welcoming at all. I asked if he had manakeesh and he said bakery is closed today and I said ok I tried calling and no one was picking up and he said because we are closed then I said why are you open then? He said phone line is closed we don't open till 11. Ok, but the way he was speaking to me was in disgustment and degradingly. He was very rude and disrespectful. I left and then came back again asking if he has falafel and said no. Then I spotted manakeesh on the side of the counter....I asked why didn't you tell me you had manakeesh...I asked for them earlier? He said ma'am you are new here you don't know like our old customers...what he said was very unprofessional, he should have let me know there was manakeesh left over that what selling. It's business dude. Anyways very unprofessional encounter and I will not come back, not recommend. In general, Arabs, except for Syrian descent have bad customer service and are uncivilized with their communication skills in which is what I experienced that day with the man.
