Overall, I had a unpleasant experience when I came to Jos. A Bank. I had a sweater which was tagged for $100 with a copy of the receipt that I purchased it with. I went there because I wanted to get in store credit because it wasn't the size I wanted. The lady at the front desk spoke down to me and tried offering me $1.00 for it despite seeing the tag that said $100.00. Don't come here as they will try and take advantage of your time and money.

I'd like to say I've never taken the time to write a bad retail review experience on google. I'm a reasonable person and mistakes happen, I chalk it up to to a one off. However, my recent experience at Jos. A Bank has made me reconsider this view.Repeated mistakes getting the right ties for my groomsmen. No one taking any accountability for the repeated errors. It's the warehouses fault for shipping the wrong tie twice, no it's whoever entered the UPC number in is wrong, this time it's right-only for it to be wrong again. How hard is it to order a tie? The staff is incompetent and the customer service is abysmal. Please do not have your groomsmen get their suits here.

My fiance and I have had a terrible experience with this store and other Jospeph A Banks stores while planning our wedding. Where do I even begin? First, after getting the call that my fiance's suit was ready, we went to pick it up and they had given it away to someone else. Second, despite our bridal party account having the exact suit/tie/shirt that we selected, one of our groomsmen was given the wrong tie not once, not twice, but 3 separate times! Third, after our groomsmen had issues with getting the right tie color, we decided to just go to the store and purchase all of them to ensure everyone had the right color on the big day. They were one shy when we went to the store, so we ordered the last one and when it came in, it was the wrong color YET AGAIN! Fourth, when we checked out, my fiance gave his new contact information (address/email/phone number) and despite this, they still have all of his wrong contact info every time we go into the store to rectify issues they've messed up. Fifth, when we checked out they sent the receipt to his old school email (that he had told them to change) which he no longer has access too. When we asked for a paper receipt instead they told us they were unable to provide one.Really terrible service. Would NOT RECOMMEND! If you are thinking of using this company for your wedding, I would highly recommend reconsidering!

Had been corresponding with the store for months trying to purchase a tuxedo for my wedding. It is now a week before, and, despite repeated reassurances that the tuxedo which I ordered would be ready, I have received nothing other than emotionless “we’re sorry”s.Appalling customer service. I beg you to go anywhere else for your wedding tuxes.

This place constantly messed up orders, couldn't get pant legs even, and was so bad with customer service. After they couldn't get pant legs the right length, they tried their hardest to sell me on that being the new style and it looked so good.

I went twice to the one in Kenwood. Both times, horrible experience. I went to this branch and the service was MUCH better: great attention to details, they take their time to let you enjoy the experience (a suit for a wedding in my case). I can’t believe it’s the same brand. The experience was great and actually I ended up spending more than I thought but gladly. Both times I went to Kenwood I was counting the minutes to get out of there.

This review is for Mr Hill thr assistant store manager.Going to get your suit fitted isn't necessarily the most comfortable thing to have done in the world especially when you're not someone who has to routinely wear them except on special occasions.Mr Hill was exceptionally relaxed and cheerful and presented such a friendly demeanor that made me feel infinitely more at ease about getting the whole process done. I strongly encourage anyone suit shopping to go through this branch specifically and ask for Mr. Hill to assist you, kudos to you sir!

Went here for a few outfits for a business meeting.I was in the store for about 15 minutes looking for shirts and pants. The place wasn't busy, and I never received assistance from a staff member, other than a guy asking how I was doing from across the store.I watched other people walk in behind me and get help immediately. It would have been nice to get my measurements so I could get a nice outfit, but the workers seemed pretty reluctant to want to help with anythingI was ready to spend $1000.Now ill the that money someplace else.

Shocked that they removed my review from their website. Clearly, I would not advise trusting that source for feedback. Basically what I wrote:Well. I guess I ended up with a purchased Tux, but that store was a mess. While Billy was a great sales person and the seamstress was great, I won’t be back to that store. The store is filthy and has the worst lighting imaginable. The tux was about $600 and should be terrific at that price. Instead, it had hanging threads everywhere. I thought the threads would be trimmed off at alteration or upon receipt. No.The first alterations were awry and had to be fixed again. So I got it 4 days before the wedding. Was the $600 suit pressed? No. It was wrinkled and a mess. They steamed it but it didn’t help. I’m shocked that I had to take an expensive suite to be pressed in order for it to be presentable.Bow tie? A ludicrous $65 for something identical on Amazon for $15. Just ridiculous, but I had no choice due to the delays.I guess the suit is ok after two alterations, but getting it wrinkled was ridiculous. Not a good experience - at all.

I would not use this store again if you paid me a $1,000. Wedding is in September, picked out suits in early November of 2022. Was told it was all good, all my groomsmen were measured within the month. No problems. Now we are in June with the wedding a 100 days away and we are told they can't get the suit pants for one of my groomsmen in his size. Their suggestion is we all return the suits we have and get a different color blue or the groomsmen wears a wool suit of the same color. Wool doesn't look the same as polyester, not even close and would reflect that way in photos. Also, as if the bridesmaids dresses weren't picked based off suit color and purchased MONTHS ago. Joseph A Bank is a horrible company and their service is miserable. Don't get me started on my groomsmen's experiences getting measured, some of them had to go in 3-4 times.

BUYER BEWARE: If I could give zero stars, I would. In late October, I was sold a jacket that was told "looked great" on me by the staff here. I could tell it was a little big, but needed a jacket for an event, so bought it with the intent of having it tailored later. Fast forward 40 days... December 11, 2022 I return to the store to have it tailored and am told it is way too big and beyond even a tailoring job. I am frustrated at this point but understand that the associate and Asst Manager currently helping me don't have control over the person who originally sold me jacket. I ask for a full refund and then can go on my way. The Assistant Manager explicitly told me that I was past the 30-day full refund point multiple times and upsells me on another jacket with in-store credit. We finalize the transaction & the receipt clearly states in all caps that full refunds are accepted up to 90 days. I ask her about that, and she says, "Oh really, I'm sorry." Hahaha - joke is on me! I will NEVER shop at a Jos. A Bank again in this lifetime. All they had to do was be honest, apologize, and work to make it right. Instead, the assistant manager and others were dishonest & lost a customer. Mistakes happen & can be remediated. In a world full of consumer optionality, businesses will succeed by doing right by their customers, being honest, and authentic. JAB doesn't seem to be doing this at this location.

What a disappointing experience. Stopped in to purchase a suit. The store was not busy. After 10 minutes, a gentleman finally asked if I need any help. Yes, I would like to buy a suit. I initially received help with a suit jacket, and it fit. Next we’re the suit pants. I tried on a pair of pants. From this point moving forward, the gent was busy helping any person walking in, and I no longer received any help. After 20 minutes of time wasted. I got dressed and walked out. He was too busy with yet another group, that I’m sure I went unnoticed.

Mr. Curtis definitely is my go to from now on when it comes to professional/dress wear. He took the time to measure me and get me in some of the most comfortable yet stylish dress shirts. Mr. Curtis and crew were very vocal and professional upon my visit. I have a new go to store now.
