I was shopping Norwood Kroger ( 11-18-2023) for some private selection Vermont extra shape white cheddar cheese. For my Thanksgiving dinner, the cheese was on sale for $9.99 ( normally, it's for $14.99. When I picked up the cheese, it was dated 8-17-2023. Why is Kroger selling 3 months outdated cheese?

Management, and the Customer Service desk AND the Boost Membership is a a failed disappointment! We have lived in this area for 53 years and our family has shopped at this location since conception. Personally I have seen a lot of changes esthetically, however the attitudes of MOST of the employees is jaw dropping. The conversations they hold with one another. Talking on the phones while fulfilling customers orders. Even talking back at management. The cleanliness, friendliness, and lack of what the meaning OF TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE has failed at this location on every level. The BOOST MEMBERSHIP is a joke. The management clearly is a reflection of the workers. A team is only as strong as it's leaders.

Kroger Pharmacy Norwood is grossly understaffed. My doctor called in a prescription on a Friday. I tried to call until Sunday and no one answered the phone, I went in on Sunday it wasn't ready. Two days I was waiting for it to be filled. They said it would be in 45 minutes. I went out, had lunch, came back in an hour and a half and still had to wait 20 more minutes. If this was a one-off it's excusable but it's the rule not the exception and has been the norm since the start of Covid. It's not the fault of the staff. They're always working. There was already one mix up & I was given the wrong meds. After, I was throwing up & thought I had the flu. I got a call from the manager who said I was given the wrong meds & to bring them back. I was given a $25 gift card for my trouble. It has to be a corporate decision to understaff Norwood. Oakley & Hyde Park don't have the same problem.

I was Mistreated at the Norwood Cincinnati location! The Mgr on duty, Dontell* told me to "get out" and "Leave" in no uncertain terms those were his words I'm not embellishing at all , That is what he said. it was the end of the day granted but you don't cut someone off from paying for the items when they're almost done I don't care how fast you think people need to move or how important you think your time is when you're getting paid to be there...it wouldn't have made a difference anyways because they had to restock stuff anyways and on top of that they had to restock the items I was not able to pay for because he was pushing me out the store. He took my cart and told me I hadn't paid for it either when there were clearly bags in the cart with receipts. i also have disabilities so this didn't help that at all. That fool needs t properly trained or put out of the store cus he's making KROGER look REALLY BAD. I have worked in retail, restaurant, and entertainment and I would never treat a customer the way he treated me. IF I come back he and others like him need to be gone PERIOD. I am or was a frequent shopper at this location I have spent 1000's there but I won't be back to Krogers! naw, I'm good if that's how you treat folks regardless of what time it is. If I can see people safely out of a theme park with out pissing folks off he can do the same! hell SAVE ALOT IS JUST AS CLOSE! IGA too!

This has most definitely been one of my more different experiences that I have had at a shopping market. I feel like if it was a regular shopping trip it would've been fine but I really just wanted to go use the restroom and get some gas before heading off to the next location. The parking lot was shared with multiple other stores but had a decent size dedicated to Kroger. The bathroom is located to the left hand side and when I entered it look like an absolute mess. I came back out and I asked if there was any other bathroom. The woman said that she just saw what happened in there and she was on her way to currently clean it, she said that I was more than free to use the employee only bathroom in the back. I made my way over there but I felt super awkward so I decided against it.The other part of the trip was to go get gas. I then realize that the gas station wasn't attached to Kroger and was actually down the street past Speedway. The speedway at that corner and the Kroger both did not have restrooms. It wasn't the worst thing in the world but it was something definitely different.

The staff here was so helpful. I couldn't reach the rice (too short) and I asked a staff member who was working in another aisle if he could help me. Without thinking twice, he stopped what he was doing to assist me. Next at the vegetable section, I couldn't find diced celery (because there is no such thing) but the gentlemen there placed no judgment. He just handed me a bag of celery. Then at the self checkout line, I was assisted by a staff member because I needed help and she was the sweetest and most kind. I wish I would have gotten all three of their names. This was my FIRST time at this location and it's the best experience so far. Great job Kroger staff. Thank you for your help today.

This isn't my regular #kroger store. I have been in here twice in the past several months to pick up an item or two. This location in Norwood has a decent size parking lot. The store is bigger on the inside than it looks to me from the outside. There are at least 7 regular checkout lanes and a self checkout line. There is a very busy #moneycenter here with friendly, efficient and quick customer service. The general #customerservice counter is on the left of the #moneycenter. Last time I was there a second employee came over to assist as the line began to get long. I spent most of my time in the #produce department and checking out the #clearance area. I was very impressed by the #produce department. It is at the back of the store and is larger than I had expected with a good variety of fresh vegetables & #fruit including many organic options. I've never seen the store less than moderately busy. I suggest you check the place out if you need an item or two or a full cart of groceries. Until next time be kind to each other. #kroger #produce #moneyservices #norwood @yelpcincy
