I stopped here for one item that I will need for my next review and found it easily as the store is well laid out and the stock is in good condition. The parking lot is clean though not exactly easy to negotiate. I wasn't doing a full shop here but the prices I did spot seemed to be decent. Kroger has a customer registration scheme that offers some discounts on items if you're in the program. It's worth it. [Review 18031 overall - 175 in Ohio - 1552 of 2022.]

Is the NCH Kroger in a state of deterioration? I went there yesterday hoping to buy four items. I looked for a hand basket, and found none, and had heard there are none in the store any more. So I decided not to be tempted to buy anything extra, and to just juggle whatever I bought in my hands, though this was one of those rare occasions where most of the smaller carts had been brought back from the parking lot.

I have been shopping here for over a decade and it has not gotten better. Several times, we would look for certain items, only to find they've "run out" of that item. Under most circumstances, the item would be restocked and available the week after, right? Wrong. If an item wasn't available, it could take weeks or even months before it arrives again. The produce is a not very good. In fact, there have been countless times when we would go to buy broccoli, and the broccoli was "purple". This should NEVER be. Produce should be fresh. I should give credit where it's due: This Kroger location has a Sushi area, Salad Bar, Deli, Bakery and a place to purchase fried chicken. The sushi is very good, but the fried chicken is one of the best as far as Kroger is concerned. Outside of the sushi and chicken, I would steer clear of this particular Kroger.
