All new machines in self check out. Halfway through checkout, the machine stopped scanning. Help came and was unable to get scanner operational. After 15 minutes of trying I left.Also, I bring my own bag...there used to be a shelf to put it on while scanning. Not anymore. Shelves are gone. I do not want to use plastic. So how do I put items in my in bag without scanner stopping and saying "please scan all items before placing in bag"

The pharmacist and technicians at this Kroger are always friendly, so I want the star rating to reflect that. I know they are understaffed and overworked - they are doing the best they can.The second part of my review is not for the pharmacy itself, it’s for the horrible, no good algorithm Kroger uses. The whole backend of the system is broken. I’ve had too many problems with getting my refills. After I call to disassociate doctors from my account, yet they still remain connected to my medications is baffling to me.I try to do as much as I can online so I don’t have to bug the pharmacy techs with my refill probs, but there isn’t much I can do within the app regarding the repeated issues I face with getting refills from my actual doctor (and not doctors I’ve seen in the past).Kroger, if you are reading this, please get some competent managers, developers, and UX designers to reconfigure the pharmacy stuff.

Good Friday, it's noon. l'm at the Kroger in Woodlawn on Springfield Pike. i notice the inventory is down in all departments. With a full shopping cart I approach checkout and to my horror, I see ONE register open with EIGHT full carts in line. a mob of shoppers with smaller purchases are jamming up the self checkout area. I get in line for the one register open. people with full carts line up behind e with over 12 carts in the cue. The register is right in front of the office where two managers seem indifferent to this nightmare. people in line behind me walk up to the office to complain. "We are working on it!" was the response. 40 minutes waiting in line and no additional help! this was my last visit to Kroger. and they want to buy Albertsons? Meijer here I come!Rb

Rick, who is charge of the pharmacy, is, in a word, awesome. He never forgets a name or a face. He is extremely knowledgeable, affable and professional. Most important, I trust him 100 percent.

whoever is working at the pharmacy is really rude. i noticed the change in staff a few months ago and ever since then the customer service has gone down hill and my prescriptions are never ready on time and are constantly delayed. Its unfortunate because the old staff was 10x better. will be switching pharmacies moving forward.

Ordered Christmas dinner meat from Josh in the Meat Department- he assured us it would be ready for us to pick up Christmas Eve or the day before.. when we called to follow up Lorri said She sees the order - although the order was not placed and therefore we had no meat for our Christmas dinner!! Really People??

I'm only giving 1 star because there isn't an option to give anything less. I was at this Kroger tonight trying to buy 3 gift bags with tissue because they were 40% off. The store refuses to honor their big red sign and says there are "exceptions" and basically has a screw you attitude. This is completely unacceptable! It is illegal to post a discount sign and refuse to honor it. I hate this store there's always an issue and someone is always rude. Somehow I doubt Meijer or WalMart would treat me this way. I'm tempted to return everything I just bought.

Typically the go to stop for our grocery shopping, however the lack of planning is evident, as the lines have been consistently long, while only three lanes being open for checkout. Not a single manager working the register to assist their employees.

This is a newer Kroger location. It has a gas station outside that I frequent. For some reason this store always seems to be super busy, no matter the time of day. The selection is great and the inside is well maintained as far as stocking, quality of produce and cleanliness. It is not a marketplace but does have a pharmacy. I like to stop here on the way home as its much nicer than locations closer to me.

I love shopping at Kroger because it's a local company and really has the best selection. This location is always packed it seems, I try to visit weekend mornings before 9:30 and don't do my full week shopping here most weeks anymore given rising prices. The amenities are the best though in my opinion - fresh sushi, Starbucks, great friendly deli staff (precut meats and cheeses set out during COVID), Rapid Fired Pizza, friendly pharmacy. I only knock off a star because cashiers are often pretty cold. Always efficient though which is appreciated to "get out and on my way".
