Anyone notice that Cinti stores like Clifton, Norwood, Kendall (i.e., more 'working class 'areas) almost never have hand baskets available? A problem you won't find at Hyde Park, Montgomery, etc. This is on-going. I've communicated a few times with corporate; get some boilerplate response, "We'll look inti it, sorry for your experience." Nothing happens. Has to be deliberate, though don't know why.

Mold on produce, out of order bathrooms, glaciers are faster than the checkout lines. If this is the way the store closest to their HQ is managed, I have no faith in the brand.

if you used to shop at the old one on Vine, this is like heaven. that place was wild. but honestly id like this new place more if there werent so many questionable types constantly just hanging out in and around the store when theyre not there to shop. makes me not want to go there. not sure why they can't prevent drug dealers and junkies making the city miserable for everyone else. i guess that would be mean or something.also, i would avoid buying any of the kroger brand packaged meats here. on multiple occasions i've bought beef and it has gone grey after a day or so (seriously, don't buy it). buy the non-kroger stuff that isn't in those foam packages.

The Downtown Kroger store is convenient for quick trips. It is a small store with fewer options on products. Panhandling takes place outside of this location but it is not too bad. It is almost always busy with a wait to get to a self checkout kiosk. It is clean and usually organized. I try to only get things that are in immediate need. Prices at Kroger are high compared to other grocery stores.

Purchase required at a register to use the restrooms, regardless if you need to use them prior to your shopping or not. They also do not make any exceptions for pregnant people. Not only do you have to pay to use the restrooms, they aren't even clean

The lady at the Starbucks was very rude I came to get a coffee and as soon as I stepped to the counter she was like “what are you getting” there was very much attitude and she didn’t listen to my order and got it wrong. She proceeded to treat me and my dad this way threw out the whole order. And she was on the phone. That is very unprofessional and her name is TAYA. She needs more customer service

Unprofessional, rude staff who is aggressive with shoppers. Prices on shelf are rarely correct at checkout. Self-checkout is always a big mess. Employees openly use profanity.

Horrible. Prices seem higher at this particular store. Many customers are rude, blocking aisles and the entrance. A remarkable amount of foul-mouthed people roaming around. Seems to be a pick-up joint for some men. The store has several security guards, more than I have ever seen anywhere else. Employees look unhappy, not friendly, Compare that to Publix employees who go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

I purchased food at this eatery, and wanted to use the restroom. I was told by kroger staff that the restroom located in the eatery was for patrons shopping downstairs. I was told I needed to go downstairs and purchase additional items from the store in order to gain access to the restroom. Very confusing for a restaurant and a company as big as Kroger to not let patrons have access to a restroom when purchasing food.

This spot is in a good location and the upstairs is nice, but why are they always out of the most basic items... super common things like produce? No bakery, no deli, no pharmacy, etc. There are also some extremely sketchy members of the staff at this location. They have workers and "managers" at this store that will cover up and hide their nametags from you to report them when they're doing sketchy things to dodge accountability from Kroger Corporate. This has happened multiple times now... always with the late night crew.Kroger Corporate would really benefit from installing professionals in this store. I do not go to Kroger stores to hear things like workers talking smack about their customers in earshot or security workers (again hiding their name badges) trying to kick people out of the store before closing time just so they can get off of their shift early.

I arrived at 9:45 pm to purchase bleach and apple cider vinegar. The security would not let me in stating doors close at 9:30. I explained to him that I was trying to clean up a black mold problem in my new home that I just noticed. He refused to allow me in as “he was just doing what he’s told”.

I ate lunch here at one of the eateries upstairs and it was surprisingly good. I had a reuben and fries and chocolate chip cookie. Pretty inexpensive for all that and I enjoyed everything. Rare that you find a nice grocery store with a food court in a downtown area. It is a real gem.
