The best Mexican food in Cincinnati! This is the best location. Chicken tacos, guac, and queso were amazing. Parking is right across the street too.

It was very akin to an overpriced cafeteria style meal. They didn't even offer chips and salsa, it was an additional $12.

Service was great but food was such a disappointment. The chorizo was horrible, the queso was way too thick and the birria tacos weren’t anything special. The best thing was the beans and that’s not saying much. I wouldn’t go again, pictures looked great and the staff was nice.

. This tiny taqueria is a gem. The food is fresh and sublimely delicious!. I LOVE THIS PLACE !. The Guacamole is great.. The Camarones Tacos (shrimp tacos) features 3 small soft tacos with tender, boiled shrimp, shredded cabbage, guac, and the most wonderful Tamarind sauce (sweet and fruity).. The Carnitas Tacos (pork tacos; 3 small soft tacos) has tender flavorful morsels of pork, with onion, guac, and a savory sauce- only slightly spicy.. I recommend the refreshing house-made limeade, called Agua de Limon.. This restaurant is a tiny, very narrow, storefront. Of the two exterior doors on Main Street, enter the left (In) door; when you leave, you use the other door.. The restaurant interior has colorful wall murals and just a few small tables in the back of the space. They do offer carry-out.. Parking on Main Street is limited, but there is one (pay) public lot just across Main Street, and another (pay) public parking lot about 1/2 block away at 7th and Main.

This review is solely for the experience today. We eat here often for lunch and though I find their offerings generally tasty (value is a little questionable), I feel like I need to say “Don’t get the fish tacos.”They either forgot or had to thaw the fish from frozen and then it wasn’t exactly “grilled”. So much moisture and weird texture the tortillas fell apart and turned into more mush before I could even consume one.And my stomach is feeling not so great, so there’s that. Not to mention three people in my party were finished when I finally had to ask where my food was and he was JUST putting it on the griddle.Maybe don’t offer the menu item if you don’t care about serving it properly. Not inexpensive and totally inedible.

Some of the best tacos and tostadas I've had in the US outside of Texas and California. The chorizo is my favorite and the queso is an absolute must get. The decor is awesome and the staff is always friendly and helpful but the line can be long at lunch and service can be slow if they also have a lot of online orders. Perfection takes time, I guess.Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to cilantro and they are somehow always able to accommodate meParking: Usually street parking available but it's also near a street car stop!

Mazunte is probably recognized as a more posh Mexican restaurant than the competitors. Service is good, bathrooms are clean, nice place for lunch break to refresh! The food has the proper ingredients. The flavor and seasoning are not over-done. However, I cannot give it 5 stars, I wasn’t wowed, I’ve had Mexican (I’m Mexican from So-Cal) were each bite I was in AWE. Still mazunte is just about right!

The tacos were quick and were delicious!! Personal preference but the songs that were playing were great too (2000-2010 alternative). It is near the Aronoff Center, so if you are in the area, I highly recommend it!

I came for dinner after a difficult day and they treated me very well, the food was spectacular and the workers were very friendly! I recommend the cake accompanied by a jar of mandarin. You can eat in peace without so many people.

The food is absolutely fantastic. Some of the most interesting and delicious salsas I've ever had. I've only tried two of their tacos so far, but the carnitas and tinga de pollo were phenomenal. It's more of a casual/lunch sort of atmosphere where you pay and order before you sit down. Super delicious! Can't wait to go

Tostadas were fantastic. We had al pastor, chili relleno and beets with mushrooms. All were excellent. Also, try the frijoles. They have an excellent texture and are flavored with red chilies (guajillo?). Definitely a great meal for the price.
