“One of the best butchers in the city of Cincinnati. A small west side staple but worth the drive from any portion of Cincinnati. High-quality, reasonable prices and beats the meat selection at Kroger for price paid versus quality and selection available any day! They do take credit card and they have ample parking.”
“Hands down best butcher shop!! These gentlemen were kind, professional and gave delicious samples.. we found our favorite meat market! They also have wonderful sides, baked goods etc .. highly recommend!”
“Hello Queen City Sausage Told me about you all .I emailed them looking for Queen City Sausage Cincinnatis Best Hot Dogs . They told me you all had them year round ? I'm coming”
“I just recently found this gem & the high quality meat selections, other delicious side items & best customer service can all be found here. I purchased these baby back ribs the other day...so delicious!!! BTW, Best German Potato Salad I have found at any deli?”
“Best butcher shop in the city! Super friendly staff, always clean, and great quality foods. I will forever be back!
Shout out to Lucy for all the help today!”
“Great variety of fresh meats, things I can't find at the grocery store, soup bones, frozen items...Always a good quality and great customer service by all of the butchers!”
“The BEST smoked ham I’ve ever had!! Got a whole bone-in for my holiday party. Heat it up then glazed it with a simple orange-soy-brown sugar and it was a huge hit. Will definitely recommend and be back.”
“HEALTHY chicks arrived. But I didn't get the "vitamin pack" that i had ordered. The phone lines were busy, understandably, but when I finally got through, she was very helpful and adjusted my bill accordingly. I had some left over chick starter in the freezer that I used. Now a week later, only two chicks have died, and the rest are growing very well.”
“Bought some strips today with my son and the man with the NY (?) accent was super friendly and helpful. Our steaks look amazing and they have spices that I have been looking for for months.”
“Wow! I am so very sorry I hadn't stopped here before two weeks ago! On my first visit, I purchased the Truffle & Tarragon chicken sausage, and I am not kidding—it's the best chicken sausage I've had in my whole life. Truthfully, it might actually be the best chicken I've had in my life! It was amazing! This week I tried the Buffalo Blue Cheese, and it was perfect. The right balance of hot sauce and blue cheese. Absolutely delicious. There are so many flavors to try, even more if you eat pork. Now I will say, if you stop by and think you'll get a warm and friendly greeting, you might not. My experiences are that they seem sort of bothered that you interrupted what they were doing. No worries, the sausage more than makes up for it! Make sure to stop here next time you're at Findlay!”
“My dad used to be friends with the founder of Queen City Sausage. My dad delivered livestock to all the slaughterhouses and knew first hand who used quality animals and who didn't. I grew up eating hot dogs, metts and brats from Queen City Sausage. I'm now in my sixties and they still make the only hot dog that I can eat straight out of the package. I pretty sure Elmer is still keeping an eye on his creation, so the quality is still there.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff, high quality meats as well as a small selection of groceries (vegetables, fruit, sides, beer, drinks). They can do catering with notice.”
“What a wonderful company and a great group of guys! They've survived the covid shutdowns and are ready for the opening of Cincinnati and the Country! Please support this LOCALLY OWNED company that supplies a great product with wonderful customer service ?”
“Best small grocery on the westside on Bridgetown near Ebenezer. Nice variety of Virginia Bakery goods, produce and deli. Great beer and wine selections. Staff is friendly and helpful if you can't find something.”
“A fine butcher that carries a selection of wines, a notch above what you would find at the grocery. All the meats are far beyond what you would be getting at the grocery, and the neon signage behind the counter is a throwback that lets you know they’ve seen a side of beef in their day”
“A great locally owned business. Customer service is so good! The quality of everything is always great. I’ve also been getting my thanksgiving turkey from them for over a decade and they’re always so good and fresh at a great price! Their cranberry relish was amazing! Got it this year for thanksgiving the first time and I will be getting it every year from here on out. It was a huge hit! I highly recommend this place!”
“Friday lent fish dinner. Beans are seasoned and taste so good. Bean container is double what Hattings Supermarket has with their dinner. Ton of French fry's. Fish sandwich is awesome. Large piece of fish. Would highly recommend. They also have a nice meat counter, sides, chicken and much more. First time stopping in.”
“Holzman's is fantastic. I get fresh meats to make over the weekend & some wonderful sides made in house. They have the very best pot pies. It is- great place for specialty items such as oxtail.”
“We won a gift card at a festival for Stehlin's. I decided to cook cottage ham and string beans. Picked up a cottage ham and some city chicken. Yummy...all their meat looked so good...I will be back.”

“Stumbled upon this place recently and shopped there today. A little difficult to find as I passed by it initially, but it is clean and organized. I have yet to try the food that I purchased, but Gina was very friendly and helpful. If I had a little more space I would try out their package/bundle deals, but I just got bags of chicken rings, fries, roasted wings and QC hot dogs. Great prices on 5 lbs. bagged items, especially given the rise in food prices. I’m sure everything will be delicious.”

“Do not come to Richel st and then do not right on Sidney st come to township st and then right on Sidney after u back up its way easier Richel st car park on the street there is no way u can make it right”
“Always love this place. Yesterday I cooked a pasta recipe I always cook, but this time using their Italian sausage. I could tell when crumbling it that the fat content was perfect and the aroma was great. The pasta was ten times better than when I normally make it. Today I went to the butcher looking for double cut bone in chops. The clerk asked the manager, who stopped what he was doing to cut three chops fresh for me. They were also substantially cheaper than another popular downtown butcher. The spacious new renovation has not diminished the quality at all, its peak”
