They don't help hurt stray animals. Zero stars

Our almost 18 year old dog was in her final hours when we took her to MedVet. The staff from the lady at the front desk to the vet tech and the doctor were all very compassionate and caring. It is never easy having to make the decision to do what we had to do that night. We THANK YOU all for your care and compassion.

I was sent here because Grady's was overcrowded at the time. My kitty was taken back immediately and labeled critical. I thought she just had worms. After 2hrs I was given detrimental news. My kitty was diagnosed with FIP. Not sure what it is? Google it. Just a few months ago this was a death sentence. The vet was AMAZING! YES it's an ER for pets so it wasn't "cheap". But they figured it out and in a timely manner. I was informed the cost for treatment was not cheap either. To this day, my beautiful 5 month old kitten is thriving thanks to Medvet! I am beyond grateful for their quick approach and knowledgeable experience. My kitty wouldn't be here without their help. Hands down Medvet is the place to go when you need answers!

I have been here twice, with 2 different pets... once for an emergency visit and another for end of life. Both experiences were made as pleasant as they could be in such vulnerable and traumatizing occurrences. Every staff member provided empathy, compassion, thorough communication, and genuine kindness. I made the extra drive (there's 2 closer ER vets to my house) just because of how pleasant my experience(s) were and I truly trust their care on my pets.

We recently had to admit our cat Ginger to MedVet for a severe issue that she was experiencing. Due to the critical nature of her condition, she was able to be seen incredibly quickly.
Throughout our visit, all of the staff were incredibly kind and compassionate; and we got to see just how fortunate it was that we took our cat to this location. We had primarily interacted with Doctors Conway, Losey, and Verkinderen, as well as two of the staff from internal medicine, Erin and Erica. They were all fantastic, and provided us with regular updates as it pertained to our cats condition and our options for continued treatment. Additionally, everyone was incredibly patient, understanding, and caring with all of the questions we had, of which there were many.
This is absolutely the best location you could take your pet for emergency, or other specialized care, bar none.

We went to the emergency and waited 8 hours and all they could do was blood work. They have no consideration of your time. They don't give you updates on your pet. If you are looking for a miserable long day, with very little answers at the end. And you want to proceed with the options they do give you, only to find out you will have a 3 week wait. Then look no further this is your place.

The people of MedVet are amazing. They are undoubtedly excellent at what they do and their compassionate nature to the people and pets they see day in and day out is unparalleled. I imagine their job to be sad and difficult at times, and yet they always show up for the pets and the people who walk through their door. Thank you, MedVet.

They were so understanding, compassionate and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We were super impressed with our experience and will always recommend this place!

Well this was my second time dealing with MedVet. 2 reasons I gave them a 2 stat.
1) last time my cat passed away on there operating table. They shouldn't have tried that type of testing given his condition. He had cancer and on his throat which restricted breathing. Therefor performing a test that requires a breathing tube should have been considered to risky and other means should have been considering. Also if someones pet dies during a test, their bill shouldnt be $10,000. Im sure they receive donations, i would think my case would have been one they would have forgiven somwof the costs but nope, i paid 10 grand for my cat to die withoit any actual treatment. Just testing.
2) the cost if an endocardiogram for a human is $300 without insurance, why was it $900 for a cat? Though my 2nd time here my cat was fine, she already had seen 3 other vets prior and was fibe by the time MedVet seen her. one of the veterinarians I am pursuing legal action against as according to multiple vets that seen her after her initial visit stated the cause of the problems stemmed from the first vet giving her too much fluid. Which in the end cost me around $5,000. For what was basically an upper respiratory infection.

MedVet is, IMO, the best emergency vet in the greater Cincinnati region. I’ve used their services and facility on more than one occasion and each time have received compassionate service from the front desk, vet assistants, and vets. The facility is open 24/7, clean, and conveniently located even for NKY residents. Pricing is fair. Excellent communication and follow up. Even though there are emergency vets closer to me, I won’t go anywhere else. They took great care of my little guy. (Collar not provided).

They saved my baby Evan's life. It was a little on the expensive side, but not ridiculous being an emergency situation and the procedure they performed. It was obvious that everyone there loved animals, and would do anything they can to help.

The doctors and vet techs were all VERY nice and seemed passionate about their jobs, always taking the time to discuss what's going on and let me ask questions. They made me comfortable with their capabilities to do a good job in treating my dog
