Generally, one does not want to have to take their pet here because it means they are sick. But if you must, be assured they will get the best care and you will receive an accurate diagnosis. they explain costs up front (I am grateful for Nationwide Pet Insurance) as well as any additional testing etc that might be needed. All doctors who cared for my pet spoke with me personally about his condition/treatment options, etc.

They're kind, accommodating and actually seem like they care about the animals instead of them just being a transaction.

Why do we take our fur babies to MedVet? Faith and Trust we have in the Dr's. We know they are the best of the best. We love our dogs they are our family and the Doctors/ Staff at MedVet treat our boys the way we would.

Though upon admittance our old dog Buster was not seen as "critical" by the MedVet staff, in our eyes he was. He could barely walk straight and his eyes were twitching back and forth. He spent 9 hours in a cage out of our sight before he was seen by a vet. Those hours were stressful on him, there is no doubt about that. We brought him home after midnight and had to put him down the next day. We wish MedVet were more appropriately staffed. Far too few doctors for the number of patients people bring in for "emergency" services. Naturally we are sad and disappointed.

I went to the ER at 8:30 Sunday morning because my dog's nose was bleeding non stop. My house literally looked like a murder scene. That was how I described it to the attending vet. However, since all labs/xrays were normal (except I was later told his Hematocrit was actually lower than normal) the ER vet did not think it was an emergency situation (mind you the nosebleed was continuous and did not stop the entire 7.5 hours we were there). We were sent home with a follow up with internal medicine on Thursday ... 4 days later! Monday morning I called to see if we could get in sooner because his nose was still bleeding non stop. Thankfully they did see him at 1:30 and did a CT scan/rhinoplasty with normal results, however his blood level was low so 24 hours after being told my dog was not an emergency situation, he was admitted to the ICU for a blood transfusion and they started antibiotics. 30 hours after my so called non emergency visit, my dog died. I honestly feel like if they would have started antibiotics sooner for whatever he had (clearly there was a problem) perhaps the outcome would have been better. I'm heartbroken and sick over the care he received.

Being an animal hospital, every visit that I've had to medvet has never been a good one, but the staff understands and has always in my experience had the best interest of the pet in mind. They don't upsell their care they lay out all the facts, all the options and then explains the pros ans cons of each option. I 10/10 recommend medvet to anyone that has to go through any emergency with their pets

This has been by fair the worst experience I’ve ever encountered at an emergency vet. My pup cut her paw and they are taking pets back that have ingested pot by their owner before putting stitches in my dog’s paw. The kicker is not charging them for the time. That dog came in after my dog. I have been waiting for almost 6 hours and by the time we get seen who knows if stitches will even work. I guess instead of wrapping it, I should have let it bleed all over the floor. I went up to the counter to see what was going on and had a nasty attitude vet tech told me that my dog is fine. Yes, I’m frustrated sitting here for 6 hours and I’m still waiting. The problem is no one talked to me. Yes, my name is on the board but communication is key especially when pet owners are already scared. Update: I waited an additional hour and decided to take my pup home by the time my pup would have been seen (if she would have), vet offices will be open. I would not recommend this hospital and if I have a medical emergency, I will drive further.

MedVet’s staff goes above and beyond. We were so worried about our boy after he began experiencing cluster seizures, but MedVet was able to get him in quickly. He is an anxious boy but their staff have very calm demeanors and although he had to stay overnight for monitoring and was nervous when we left, when we came to pick him up, he had made friends with the kind staff there.Everyone we talked to that night as well as the next day made sure to answer any and all questions we had as well as taking the time to explain the options we had for his care. They were very non-judgmental and gave 3 treatment options in 3 different price ranges. I would like to personally extend our gratitude to the staff at MedVet, the techs, the vet, front desk and everyone in between. Although i hope to not have to bring either of our dogs back again, i know that if something occurs and we need to, they will be in caring and knowledgeable hands. Thank you all so much for taking such great care of Barlow!

We took our pup in on Friday night around midnight due to him having two seizures back to back. You can imagine the panic that set in and just how nervous we were. The staff immediately took our dog in and checked vitals and kept us SO informed throughout the whole process. Super thankful to have our dog home with us and to know he was in great hands! <3

Me and my fiancé took our dog into MedVet for a cracked nail and are very pleased with the experience. The facility was clean and the waiting room was comfortable to wait in with refreshments. Although we waited for a bit as she was not an urgent case, the medical assistants gave us updates throughout the night and kept us in the loop. When we were taken back, Dr. Young was very kind and informative when describing the treatment plan. Very pleasant experience all around!

My initial arrival was not an optimal experience. I came from my vet's office urgent care and they said they had called and given details for my arrival. When I arrived, the MedVet team acted like they knew nothing of my situation. It took some time to straighten out while I remained scared for my pet's health. Once she was taken into see a vet and they came to talk to me, the situation became better. The Vet helped me make decisions for my dog's needs and I felt much better about leaving her in MedVet's care. She stayed over night and most of the next day and I received regular communication. The check out process was much easier and more relaxed then the intake process. I feel my dog was well taken care of.

My doggie had a bad reaction to vaccines and his whole face started swelling. I rush him to MedVet and they immediately took him back and started him on medications. This place was a life-saver. And Doctor Young - let me just say is *AMAZING*He took the time to really explain things to me and took my concerns seriously. I know where I'll be coming in the event of an emergency in the future. Thanks MedVet!

The care my dog received was amazing. The vets who did his exam were so gentle with him, and I really appreciated that because my dog is very shy. They were informative and answered all my questions.
