Solid service and execution of our move. Mykell and Aaron were very efficient and careful with our items. I think it’s the first time we moved and nothing was damaged! They are highly recommended, and I would definitely hire them again.

Just got finished having them move my furniture from my house to condo, they were really careful and did it in less time than predicted. This is the second moving company I have used and if I move again, I will be calling them again. The two men that moved everything were very nice and polite. 10 out of 10!

Outstanding Job!
As a faculty member at The Ohio State University, I highly recommend Moving Ahead Services.
I have had moving experiences across the country (including the Northeast where I went to law school) - - and I can say without hesitation that Moving Ahead Services is one of the best moving companies in the nation.
Movers JJ and Elijah treated my possessions as if they were their own. My items were meticulously wrapped and handled with care. The movers did not bruise my furniture or the walls.
They arrived on time with a great respectful attitude which continued throughout the day.
The leaders in the office, Tina and Adam were responsive and dedicated.
The moving quote was fair and I was not charged extra at the end of the move.
I prayed before the move and God sent me JJ, Elijah and the great team at Moving Ahead Services.
Moving Ahead has over a hundred 5 star reviews on Google - - that is not by accident. They are outstanding.

This is the second time I have used Moving Ahead Services & they are the absolute best!!! This time I was moving some antiques & artwork, and my crew of Rashawn and Clayton were so careful & professional. They wrapped the artwork so well & really took special care! Everything arrived perfectly & they were friendly & quick. I can’t say enough good things about Rashawn, Clayton & Moving Ahead.

Moving Ahead made our college move-in very smooth and efficient. Brandon and Paul did a great job in packing the items from the storage unit and unpacking at our destination. They were very helpful in putting the items in the designated rooms and careful not to damage anything. We were very satisfied with Moving Ahead Moving Services and would definitely use them again.

My location was the Cincinnati branch. First of all, this branch h sent a text to the wrong number to confirm the move. The person responded no. The morning of the move I received a call asking why I canceled my move. After we got that straightened out they arrived at 9:15 a.m. My move was less than 4 miles to my newly built home. Three men showed up. I had everything they were to move labeled with orange tape. They only moved furniture. I had everything else boxed and was moving myself. One of the movers received a personal call and was arguing on the phone for 45 minutes. Did not move anything. The two other movers actually complained about him not working. I had minimal furniture. Two bedrooms and one dining room, one tv room, and one den. It took them over 5 hours, plus they scratched my brand new hardwood floors in my new house and blamed it on my son. I actually witnessed the mover who made the scratch. They scraped the walls and the mover who argued on the phone actually asked for a tip. There were countless other things. We agreed on a credit to fix my floor. I signed paperwork for it and never received the credit. Plus, they did not credit me for my $50 deposit. They kept it. I reported this to my credit card company and received both of those credits. They did credit me a hour off of the move because of the mover arguing.Don't use them. Period.,

My review is about the Cincinnati location, I can’t speak for the others.
I’ve used moving ahead services in the past. The last time being in 2020 and they were absolutely amazing. (which is why I decided to use them again). Hired them to move us a few weeks ago and to say our move was a COMPLETE DISASTER is an understatement.
For starters they showed up almost an hour late, which would have been no big deal had that been the only thing that went wrong. The three movers came in and were incredibly rude and had a horrible attitude. After about an hour or two they informed me that the truck was full (the biggest truck they offer) however they didn’t even have half of our stuff on it. For reference we were moving a 2 bedroom condo. I went down to look in the truck to find that they didn’t pack the truck to the ceiling they only packed it to about eye level. So they had to send another truck. I had to leave my uncle at the old condo to wait for the other truck while I went to our new house to unload truck 1. While unloading truck 1 they complained, were careless, scratched my floors by dragging dressers & carelessly bumped into walls. I then received a call from my uncle letting me know that the movers with truck number 2 were refusing to finish moving the stuff at our condo because they were to tired. To make a very long story short, when all was said and done both trucks made it to our new house however they had to come back the following day to go back to my condo to get everything they forgot. At the end of this whole mess many of my boxes were busted open, nothing was in the place where it should be despot me having clearly labeled all boxes, I’m MISSING multiple boxes, I have a dented dryer, a broken washer (which the repair man confirmed is from careless handling), I’m missing screws from them taking things apart workout equipment and not putting it back together fully and I’m left with scratched floors & demolished walls (be cautious as the form you sign at the beginning of the move wipes their hands clean of most these damages)
Aside from the rude movers, the customer service offered isn’t much better. I could truly go on and on about how awful this experience was for my husband and I but in the end I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy and my biggest regret is not kicking them out the moment they walked in with their horrible attitude and rude comments.
