Northgate Mall, once a vibrant shopping destination, has seen a significant decline in stores and activity over the years. Many reviews express sadness about its dwindling state, noting that only a few stores, including a food court with Chinese food, remain. The mall is appreciated for being clean inside and serving as a good place for mall walking, especially during bad weather or extreme heat, although recent changes in hours have made early visits more difficult. Visitors fondly recall the mall's past lively atmosphere, with numerous stores, a bustling food court, and memorable shopping experiences. However, there is concern that the mall may soon close if it doesn't adapt. Some suggest that the owners could do more to revitalize the space, such as introducing boutiques and small businesses or hosting events to attract visitors. The exterior areas, especially around Sears and the former movie theater, are often neglected and become eyesores with dumped tires and junk. Despite these challenges, Northgate Mall remains a place where people still gather for food and casual walking, holding onto hope that it can be revived. Its history as a community hub and the memories it holds make it a cherished, though struggling, local landmark.

Nothing is here anymore. It's dead. All major retail stores have left to other locations. Growing up, this place was the "cool place" to hang out. I like to walk around the parking lot.

A great place to dine in-eat as well as shop in a safe environment.
