The customer service needs work. The employees don't smile and have a little attitude. Spend money and don't get a thank you. Very rude and ungrateful.

My mother worked for paradise gift shop at Cincinnati airport for 17 years. She was a very dedicated employee with many awards from CVG and Paradies gift shop. She was very proud of representing the store that she worked, is in perfect presentation. She ensured her stock is rotated, coldest drinks in the front, all labels facing forward, her t-shirt folded with designs of shirts aligned in center, even her dress code was followed to perfection. Very proud of her work there. She was never late, showed up to work on snow days, and very proud her register balanced daily. At 75 she decided to terminate due to health conditions. After 17 years of dedicated employment that company could not even get her a farewell cake, flowers, card, not even a small gesture to say “thank you” for her loyalty and dedicated years of service. Awful company to work for and management Lisa is incompetent. Mom will never say anything but seeing my mom for 17 years like a mailman rain, sun shine, or snow she was dependable.Just speaking up for my mom.

If I could give minus starts I would. I just potentially had one of the worst customer experiences with Jovan at “The Over The Rhine Market” store in terminal A in the CVG airport. I went in I purchased a bottle water, a pack of Mike & Ikes, pack of gum and a Bengals shirt. The Bengals shirt had no price on it and before the items were rang up I asked Joven how much the Bengals shirt since there wasn’t a price. She proceeded to ignore me and rang up the other items first. When it came time to do my shirt, I then asked if she could tell me the price of the shirt. She then proceeded to tell me very rudely do you want the shirt or not I don’t care if you buy it. I said ideally I would like to buy it but I don’t know the price. She then told me it’s going to be $30 or higher and I said well I would like to know the price before I purchase it. She then proceeded to give me an attitude and told me to leave her store and then I was holding up the line. I said very calmly to her I would just like to know the price so I can purchase a shirt are you not able to tell me the price she said no she’s not able to tell me the price. She then said I’m holding up the line and am I going to buy it or not. I went ahead and said that I was going to buy it so she rang it up and I just I placed my credit card into the machine I asked can I please have a receipt. She then said very rudely you need to wait a minute for it to come out. As I was leaving and she was handing me my stuff she shoved it over the counter to me and told me that I need to be more respectful and that I’m holding up the line and wasting peoples time and then I should F***ing leave her store. She then raised her voice again as i stay there astonished that she just said that to me and she put her hand in my face and told me goodbye, leave. I was very calm through this whole process I did not cuss at her and I just was shocked that she treated me this way after doing nothing wrong. I tried to call the number on the bottom of the receipt but no one answered so I left a voicemail. I would also like to add that two customers in front of me a gentleman was standing there and priced checked a bengal shirt and she did it for him no problem. Absolutely unreal I was treated so horribly!! Negative stars.

This Paradies Shop is shoehorned into the very narrow Gate Concourse of Terminal 2 at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. They shop occupies both walls of the hallway down the Concourse. The register is on the left hand side as you walk down the Concourse. All of your usual Paradies Shop Airport fare is here: cold bottled water and sodas, snacks, magazines, newspapers, and such. Picked up a nice large cold bottle of water here before boarding my flight back to Dulles.
