I shouldn't be legally accountable for a drug test that I didn't ask for nor need. But becsuse we live in a society full of rules that make no sense and punish responsibile people because others can't handle their meds I need to pay a $150. It would bring me great satisfaction if the medical system would just dissolve.

I have submitted in writing as well as documented two separate telephone calls speaking with a Stephanie and Stacy at this location that I refused to have pay for biopsies being sent their way after the initial biopsies setting me back $550 of which was paid immediately. Path group continues to send me a bill for $86 for biopsies completed after being told not to do so by me. In writing and verbally over their documented phone system that records calls with representatives. This feels like extortion. It validates the fact based upon the other reviews that have been submitted. When you contact Path Group, you are immediately put on hold for minimal 12 minutes at their 877 toll-free number. When someone finally answers, it’s clearly an inner city location full of illiterate, incompetent, and very nasty individuals to speak to. As of this morning, 12-4-23, I had the opportunity with tracking down their corporate location in Tennessee, and speaking with a representative that will hopefully validate and zero balance my quandary and dissatisfaction with this company. Until then this review stands. Going forward those that read this review I would highly recommend you not going through biopsies done through Path Group or their affiliates. Try using Quest as the source to turn to instead.

This company is the worst. I honestly don't understand how a company like this can legally exist. I'm on an active payment plan and autopay with them. I've made two on time monthly payments. Seems like it should be easy and I should just be able to pay the remaining payments I have and hopefully forget about Pathgroup forever. Oh no, that'd be too easy. Today, out of the blue, after they've taken my last two payments without a problem, I get a collections letter. You've got to be kidding me. I call the collection agency. They look at the notes and say, "Hmm that's strange, there's no notes or codes on here. Normally there are notes when they send an account to collections." So then I get to call Pathgroup. After being on hold off and on for a total of 32 minutes, the representative comes back on the line and says, "It's been resolved. Have a nice day." Then click, the line goes dead. Wow. What's been resolved?! I didn't know there was a problem that warranted collections! No answers, who knows if it's been resolved. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to call back and battle them for answers. Worst company, awful service, and clearly they have no idea what they're doing since they're pushing people into collections that ARE PAYING THEIR BILLS.

I invite this provider to explain why they do not accept Anthem Bronze Pathway HMO (which cost me $600).

Received a bill stating due immediately, when they had just submitted it to insurance. Called the customer service phone number within the hours stated on the bill, but a recording advices it was outside of business hours. Employees checking out early? We’ve had coding issues with this group before, which takes phone calls to their group and insurance and the doc to rectify all because of their mistakes. They are a mess.

The reason for this bad review is due to their billing department. I had services on April 4, 2022. And on May 2nd I receive a statement saying that I am past due with red writing. Is this Just some kind of loan shark billing department like a fly by company orchestrating the billing for Pathgroup? Such a disappointment for the tactics that they are using. Companies like this should be considered a joke.

Wish I could give -1 star. First lady hung up on me. I was trying to figure out why I was charged blood work for a free yearly checkup exam. Called back 2nd time this chick needed to be in another career field awful awful rude. She asked "why I think I needed a refund". Well I almost paid it. Something said don't!! I called my insurance company they paid them last month. This place has gotten I don't know how many peoples money. My insurance company called them they were rude to them. And my insurance lady had to hand it over to her boss they are trying to get paid by ME even though they already got paid by my insurance. Once you pay no refund PEOPLE. Please get w/ your insurance company before paying them. I have a reference # and know they were paid now. I pray when they stand before God on judgement day they repented for scamming so many hard working Americans.

For a date of service 11/12/2021. The bill was submitted in error as diagnostic, not routine, and all went to my deductible. I called on 12/27/21, spoke with Tiana to have them resubmit bill as routine/preventive. When I heard nothing back, I called again on 02/08/21 and spoke with Sierra, who said I needed to wait 90 days, per their policy, before they will submit the claim again. All claims received by my insurance were received and paid within 3-4 business days, so they weren't the issue. I asked to speak with a supervisor, so I got Chantelle. Chantelle said she would check with the review dept to see if claim didn't go through as my insurance did not receive the resubmission. No call back from Chantelle. I call again on 03/07/22, spoke with Chantelle, and she said they did respond and paid the same way. It was infuriating getting Chantelle to answer my questions without sidestepping or not answering me, then she started saying "it seems you just don't want to pay". How rude! I'm sure she doesn't want to pay unwarranted bills either. I called my insurance and confirmed, PathGroup did NOT resubmit my bill as routine/preventive and it would have saved me $30+ if they had done what they were supposed to do. Right now, I'm just going to pay the bill because the office is horrific to deal with, and will bring this up with my provider to see if anyone else can be used in the future. A note for Chantelle, do not tell others how they feel or what they think, and accuse them of not wanting to pay their bill. I'm paying over what I should, because of you, and your unwillingness to answer direct questions or follow through with what you said you'd do. Point the finger right back at yourself!

I spoke with a woman named Tiara last month about my bill. Tiara was phenomenal. She was informative and well versed about PathGroup, which made it easy for her to answer all of my questions. She was patient and understanding about my hesitations and confusions concerning the bill. She even offered to reset my billing schedule so that I could have a little more time to call the healthcare business I'd visited to get some clarification about exactly what I was paying for and why before paying for it.

Yes received a bill dated May of 2020 and by August the company deemed me as not going to pay bill and sent to collections. The bill was 90 days NOT extremely old. Sorry that my spouse has been fighting for his life since June 2020 and this bill slipped through the cracks. I have an excellent credit score. Didn’t receive not one phone call about bill. You would think company would be a little more understanding since we are in a pandemic NOT to mention that my spouse has been hospitalized since June. Will never let my physicians send to this lab... would rather find a different doctor that deals with a better company

There seems to be no valid attempt to properly file insurance. No one answers the provided phone number. The bill form mailed to us speaks as if the patient is a chronic delinquent although we have primary and secondary insurance and they have put us on a short leash.

It's no wonder why so many medical billing jobs are being sent overseas, it's because of companies like PathGroup who don't do the job right the first time.We have been working with them to fix their billing mistakes for over 5 months now!

Terrible billing company. Can’t even bill correctly. They have been sending me a bill for the last 5 months with different patients responsibility. Last month they said it fixed and I paid what I owe , again get another bill with new liability it never ends . It’s so frustrating.

Was billed for three lab tests when I had one done. It was confirmed with my doctors office that they had only sent out for one tests and that there were no mistakes on their end- yet I keep receiving phone calls asking me for over $900 when I have already paid for the one test I had taken. No one is competent enough to resolve this issue, so how do we know the lab work is being done as it should?
