Patty's Old Fashioned Popcorn is a locally owned gourmet popcorn store located on Hyde Park Square. It is known for having the best popcorn in the tri-state area, with many flavors including famous Grippo popcorn. Everything is fresh and made right there. The shop also offers nostalgic candies, Hawaiian shaved ice, fudge, caramels, and gift baskets for all occasions. It is an awesome little spot with amazing smells, lots of character, and a very good atmosphere. The staff provides great, friendly customer service and makes you feel welcome with their famous greeting. It is an unexpected gem and everyone should make a stop.
We absolutely love this place. We drove all the way from Louisville just to have Patty's Popcorn...the best popcorn in the world.

Always fresh , always well stocked and always welcoming and very hospitable. The staff will voluntarily offer me samples if they’re bagging popcorn when I arrive. I’ve since moved from this side of town however I do travel to visit Patty’s as I am always fully satisfied!

This place is great!! I had the cheesy Grippo’s while visiting for work.. it was so good I had to get more. I asked for a few samples during that second visit and everything I tried was delicious. The staff was especially nice. 10/10 highly recommend!
