Spoke to Kaylie on the phone, she was so nice, & very helpful explaining the process.. Once we got there Darby was the one who helped us, she answered all of our questions, & made the process of getting our goldendoodle Autumn a smooth process. We ended up waiting for some phone calls much later than we all had expected, she & her coworker were kind & didn't seem annoyed to be stuck waiting after the store had closed. I am so sorry again that it did take so long, but they both were very professional about it & didn't show any annoyance toward the issue. Thank you again for the amazing experience, you must only hire the best people there!

Terrible customer service from girls that looked like they were very miserable. When asking for information the girl disappeared and we had to ask again then she was very rude! Terrible service! If you don’t like people or like to work in customer service why work there?? On top of that it looked like one dog had pink eye and another one had a runny nose. I just really feel bad for the dogs!! We will never go to that location again!

I was told yorkie dog was $900. After driving way across town to get pup, told me it was $4900. Left after disregard or acknowledgment by your staff selling puppy mill animals. She tried to say starting at $900 which is not what I was told. I asked for firm price before leaving or would not have gone. I will put this review on the inet to warn others. I will buy from breeder directly and not give all my future pet supply business to Petland nor will my family, friends and coworkers. Horrible customer experience.

Took my Daughter to go play with some puppies at Petland! Had fun petting a Pompsky & an American Bulldog. The associates at Petland are very kind and take good care of the animals. However, pricing is extremely high. So if you plan on buying an animal there, be ready to drop a good amount of cash.

The kids who work here are sweet. The puppies are sweet. But they still buy from puppy mills.

Went in today. Terrible customer service from girls that looked like they were miserable. Two of my dogs are from that location. One even has hip problems. I've spent tons of money there. Took my niece and nephew there to buy a few things and hold a pup. They kept tell us no to certain dogs and then one dog they said they had to wait 5 min. Never brought him . Terrible service! If you dont like people or like to work in customer service.....don't. Will never go to that location again!

It's small but it's cute! I have a cockatiel from here but they have since removed their section of birds, ferrets, etc. and only have dogs. unless it's super busy, they tend to stand by their marketing of play time with the puppies. if you simply ask an employee if any of the puppies are available for playtime, they'll generally go grab one for you. when it comes to toys and pet foods for sale, the selection is small. when I got my bird I got the seed mix they were currently on, but later went online to transition her to pellets and vegetables. I didn't get my bird toys from there but there are a couple. overall though I appreciated the small size of the place.

The staff are the best bunch you can find and the puppies and kittens are definitely cared for and loved. I would highly recommend Petland Eastgate for any of your pets needs or for a new best friend to take home!

Most of the staff is nice however Sydney was not too attentive and like a prison warden personality, just didn't seem to want to help but sure responded with rules.

Clean and tidy. Let's you hold the animals and interact with them. Helpful employees. Not a ton of walking space when the place is busier.

It is a shame I cannot leave a great review considering this is a pet store and it should always be positive experience. The pricing on their pets is outrageous. I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out and say I was being punked after hearing over $6k on a puppy! I seriously wanted to vomit knowing that to Petland the price seems to be more important than finding a loving home. This is obviously not the fault of the employees, this is a direct issue with Petland itself. From a business standpoint you might sell more if the price wasn’t outrageously stupid! But from a humanity standpoint point you should be ashamed.

I purchased a Golden Doodle here and within 24 hours this poor puppy was severely ill. He was actually unresponsive. He had severe pneumonia, giardia, anemia and leukocytosis. It took 2 weeks in a hospital and many times where the vets were telling us he may not make it. Luckily, he made it through. I was not aware of the horrible puppy mills that supply pets to Petland.I gave 2 stars because the staff was wonderful through this and they paid for everything, even the vet bills for my other 2 dogs who also got sick.I would stay away from this store for animal purchases.

I just had a very frustrating experience with my kids with an employee. I pleasantly asked if there were any dogs that haven’t been out for a while and the employee put us in the cubby and then put the dog down with a toy and walked away. The puppy peed moments later and so I told my son who’s 5 to ask the nice lady if she could bring us spray and some napkins and I’d wipe it up. Usually they do it for you, but I was offering to be nice. She looked at my son and completely ignored him and started walking away and so I spoke up and said “if you would get us some napkins, the dog peed” she then ignored me, came closer said “are you done with the dog?” Before I could answer she took the puppy out of my hands and whipped around to put him back. At this point I said screw it and started walking towards the front. The employee who had been ignoring us was walking beside us and stepped in front of us a few steps, walked out the door and let it almost close in my face. I then was mad. I said “you’re rude.” She turned around and said “excuse me?” I then explained how the door nearly slammed in my face and how she ignored me & my kids and took the dog away without me saying so. She then exclaimed that her daughter was in the hospital and that’s why she was rushing out, rolled her eyes and & then got in her car.I am so sorry to hear that the daughter is in the hospital and I truly hope it’s nothing serious. I can’t take back the fact I called her rude, but I can clearly state what happened wasn’t appropriate and hope that going forward professionalism is established again in the work place.

My boyfriend and I went into this store last week, we wanted to look around and hold/play with a one specific dog which was a golden retriever. There was nobody else in the store other than 2 employees, 1 employee was in the back cleaning and the other employee was out by to desk area. We were curious about what one of the dog’s breed was so we asked her nicely out of curiosity and she didn’t even face us when she said the name and she kept walking away as if we were a bother to her. We stood by the golden retriever for a few minutes, hoping she would come back so we could ask about getting the dog out but she stayed in the front obviously trying to avoid us. We finally went up to the desk to ask about getting the dog out and we were asked if we were “planning on buying it today”, we said we weren’t sure yet and we wanted to at least hold and play with it for a bit and she turned us down and scoffed at us. I’m not sure how people are supposed to go in and purchase dogs/ browse without getting the dogs out. They have areas to get the dogs out for a reason. Very disappointing.

Yes she was expensive but I have never had such a smart dog. Turning 6 months this month. She had a clean bill of health. I was provided all of the information about the breeder plus a ton of other info. She had already seen the vet twice and I was provided that record to view. She was fully potty trained in 1 week (see video), she was only 3 months at the time and she practically trained herself. She is already following commands and doing tricks, she can “raise the roof” (see video). This type of smartness you just don’t always see in a puppy that comes from a bad environment. She was worth every penny.
