  Just had one of the work customer experiences I’ve had in a long time at PetsMart. I placed an online order yesterday morning for prescription food and attached my dog’s prescription number (per usual). My boyfriend went to go pick up the order and they wouldn’t give him the bag of food. He waited for 35 minutes. He called customer service and they said the prescription authorization wasn’t an issue but wouldn’t tell him what the issue was. I then called customer service and they said they were waiting to verify the prescription even though I attached an image of his prescription number, and the customer service rep my boyfriend called said the verification wasn’t the problem. So, somebody is clearly lying. We also always order the big bags of his food online because they never have them in store. You’d think they could save customer information like most businesses. This was absolutely ridiculous and we will never purchase anything from this location again.

  There is barely any customer service. You have to go all over the store to find help or stand in a check out line . Also unless you have your app open on your phone then you won't get the sale price. Saved $15 on just one item by having app open and showing them but otherwise would have had to pay full price.

  No animals workers are aloof and don't help, you have to ask and they just say it and keep moving. Never again will I go in the store.

  The checkout line was ten deep. I had to call the store to get another cashier after standing there for a while. No one recognized the issue. Store was clean and stocked.

  Stopped by for some feeder gold fish. Christmas eve was not the day to stop by. I did receive help. People coming in to purchase tanks and fish same day. Was making it stressful. The worker did the best he could. Called for help a little late.

  I went to buy a guinea pig and I picked one and when the guy went to get him out of the cage he literally picked the guinea pig up by his legs!!! I was so tempted to say something !!! U do not pick a guinea up by his legs !!

  Visited the store with our dog while an adoption event was ongoing. Walked by the cats that were up for adoption (all in crates) and our dog smelled a cat for a few seconds before we pulled him away. The cat did not seem bothered and our dog did not do anything other than sniff. One of the adoption agency workers used profanity and she wasn’t even near the area when it happened. Either section a specific part of store (other than an aisle) or specify where customers and dogs are not allowed during an event, if needed. This caused us to put away our items that we had intended to purchase.

  Ok the lady who helped with the fish was super nice and did answer our questions but wasn't informative and the make cashier didn't even answer my question, to busy getting back on his phone. It was closing time so I mean idk I normally love this location but I went last and was pretty upset. Plus they have me two different fish that were supposed to be the same.. whatever..... other then that maybe it was a bad night but horrible experience. Ill go back because that is where I shop lol I just want it to be known. UPDATE CHANGED from a 2 star to a 4 star. Will change to 5 star if I go in 2x more and it's the same as last time.
  Update: my closest location and I do prefer this one. The team members were more on it this time engaging informative and friendly.

  Petsmart is more expensive than other comparable stores with much better customer service.
  This location seems understaffed as there is usually only 1 cashier working and a long line. I do not go to Petsmart at all if I can help it, but I no longer use this location despite it being the most convenient for me.

  Absolutely amazing my dog is always taking care of and nice trusty place for my pawfriend
