This one dude that works there, I think his name was Joseph, must have brought out 5 or 6 styles of boots, different sizes and widths, and tried a few different inserts for me before I finally found a pair of boots that fit my feet right. It was at least an hour. He was as if a consultant, an expert consultant.

Ordered a pair of Iron Rangers here. The two workers were extremely helpful and knowledgeable helping find exactly what I wanted, and although they didn’t have the model I wanted in my size they contacted another local Red Wing store and had them shipped to me the next day.

It was my first time at Red Wing and was not what I was expecting at all. It is very different than your average shoe store. I had a fantastic experience. Joe at Red Wing was very helpful, and knowlegdable about their boots. He made feel comfortable and was very patient with me while I searched for my perfect boot. After visiting a few other stores, I found myself at Red Wing and am very happy with the service received and Ill definetly be back for my next pair of new boots.

My first Redwings, probably not my last. Kudos to Logan for answering my many questions, helping me try on six or seven boots, all while keeping up a warm, friendly chat. This was like buying shoes in the "old days", and I mean that in a good way. No self-serve, no digging through stacks on your own to find what you want. Between the product and the service I would say it was well worth the price.
