Super nice facility. You can tell the owner Kevin has poured his heart and soul into this place. Even when it’s “crowded” (10+ people) the place is so big it doesn’t feel that way at all. Equipment is newer, clean, and well-maintained. Locker room/showers/bathrooms are very nice. Wonderful to work out with the garage doors open too!If I had to ask for more it would be:1. Additional rack of dumbbells2. An additional cable machine setup3. Some yoga balls4. A stairclimber / a couple more pieces of cardio equipment. Those are just for my own personal routine though ?

Fantastic equipment with a serious lifting gym feel. Kevin's customer service was fantastic. Turning my trading toward triathlon for the summer but I'll definitely be back!

Hi Kevin! Sorry I couldn't write a review on Google for some reason. I very rarely do these but personally I thought you deserved one. I will definitely be back one day and you'll be the first person I call. Thanks for having me!Summary: RTS Barbell is moderate&above-level focused strength training gym that offers a spectacular wide range of top-tier equipment that is suitable for use by athletes whether powerlifters, strongmen, olympic lifters, and more. It is one of the only locations in the area that offers 24/7/365 access which is a vital component of the business, per the owner's mission statement. This was a recommended location to me by my coach who is co-workers with a regular here and I would say without a doubt if I lived in Cincinnati this would be the gym I would pay a full, indefinite membership for. Kevin, keep doing what you're doing man. I'm excited to see where this place goes.Equipment: RTS has a massive amount of equipment from Rogue ranging from bars, racks and plates to a million different accessory machines. There is also (literally) a wall of different bars ranging from Ohio power bars and Texas bars, as well as accessory bars like SSB's, Cambered bars and Duffalo Bars. All in all, you will not be lacking any sort of equipment from a powerlifting standpoint, but keep in mind there is also a turf track and a somewhat separate section where kilo plates and bumpers are stored for Olympic lifters and competitors. Lastly, there are multiple signs that show what bars weigh what, what their uses are, how certain equipment works (clips, etc.) which prevent people from misusing equipment. Definitely 10/10 here.Location/Size: The business is located inside of a warehouse that can be quite difficult to navigate to (in terms of driving there, because of all the one way streets) if you aren't a Cincinnati native. It shares the warehouse with other businesses. It's not some state-of-the-art, post-modern super clean area; yet the place is immaculately kept and I didn't see a speck of dirt anyway, whether in the common areas or in the business. Also, the business will be moving soon to a new location that is much larger and not shared with other businesses, so this entire section is almost redundant. Personally, I was completely ok with the size as there was adequate room to workout and move around without anybody bothering me or being an endangerment, so big pass from me here as well.Atmosphere: as a competitive powerlifter, places like this are my go-to in terms of where I would want to be long-term if I lived in the area. Hands down, I would have my membership here and nowhere else. People mind their business but in the four days I lifted as a guest, had a number of friendly interactions with other lifters that was great. There is no "judgement" that some might expect; that being said, this is a *serious* training environment that is best applied for use by moderate to advanced athletes, so keep that in mind if you are coming from a more casual gym setting. In retrospect, if you are looking to up your game, this is the place to do it. Also, a major note here, the owner Kevin is EXTREMELY friendly and will answer the phone almost 24 hours a day to answer any questions and he goes out of his way to meet new members and guests and get to know them.Business policies: I came as a 4 day guest and for the price I was offered (65) that was very good. People complain about guest/day passes being higher than 5 or 10 a day without understanding the economics behind the fact that it is supposed to be more beneficial that you garner even a monthly membership if you are there for more than 8 business days. In relation to this business, you are definitely getting what you pay for. Keep in mind that the gym offers 1) top of the line equipment you won't get almost anywhere else except in scant and scattered amounts 2) FULL ACCESS 24/7/265. That is literally whenever you want, when it is convenient for you. No holds barred. Consider other locations that offer/do not

I just joined this gym, and I am blown away. All of the equipment is in tip top shape. There are more than enough racks, deadlift platforms, and benches available. The crowd is super nice and chill. You can tell that the owner of this gym has dedicated a tremendous amount of thought and hard work to this place. It’s really something special. There are only a few minor inconveniences that pertain to the limitations of the facility (lack of water fountain, no mirrors, few cables, no standing calf raise or seated leg curl). Of course, they are in the process of building their own facility! I’m sure that these inconveniences will be rectified when the lack of space is no longer such a burden. I can’t wait!

Amazing gym! I was in town for a couple of days for work and dropped in Thursday and Friday morning. It was super easy to sign up and get access. The space is incredible with basically every piece of equipment imaginable. If I'm ever back in Cincy I'll make it a point to drop in again!

This gym is amazing. Equipment up to par mostly free weight. Strong man and powerlifting. Nobody was on staff and the gym was still clean, weights organized. Dungeon of gains

Kevin Is serious about the vision he has for RTS Barbell and it absolutely shows when you step into the gym. Equipment is top notch And he was extremely helpful with the guest pass process. If you live in Cincinnati or are just passing through town this is the spot.
