I came back to my unit covered in mouse droppings which was all also in my stored clothes. I moved everything out immediately (not during their business store hours so I had to call to cancel). Every time I tried calling multiple times throughout the day (3/28,3/29,4/2) there was no answer. i have been out of state more often than not lately so this was extremely frustrating. when coming to the store on 4/3/24 around 2:30pm, I told the guy at the front desk everything that happened. He visibly didnât care. He said theyâve been putting mouse traps and poison down, but they should tell people of this problem. Obviously, not everyone has this problem though. I just asked to be done with this company and to once again cancel (b/c he thought i would LOVE to keep the unit and purchase insurance instead); he said heâll cancel it once he makes sure everything is moved out. since im out of state and they donât answer the phone, i was hoping to get my receipt then and there. but he said âi have meetings and work right now so once I get up ill do it and send you an emailâ (even though heâs supposed to be working rn and not on his personal computer doing other things)..I NEVER got an email.At this point im away out of town again and I knew they wouldnât answer the phones because they never do. I just called corporate and cancelled it that way along with getting an emailed receipt IMMEDIATELY which was SO much easier and I wish I just did that to begin with. They also apologized for the mouse droppings.I get that you canât control infestations. But as a business there are 2 things yall should definitely be doing:#1 tell people about the infestation and let them decide if they want to proceed.#2 act the least bit interested in what a customer has to say. i wasnât cursing or yelling. the lack of customer service was SO disappointing, especially when I see all these reviews praising the service. SMH.
