About SPCA Cincinnati
The SPCA Cincinnati has been serving the Greater Cincinnati community since 1873, originally founded as the Ohio Humane Society. Now known as the SPCA Cincinnati, this local humane society is the go-to resource for all things animal-related, from pet adoptions to vaccination clinics. The SPCA provides comprehensive care for animals that come through their doors, ensuring they receive food, medical attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection to prepare them for their new homes. Reviewers praise the SPCA's helpful and professional staff, who work diligently to match animals with the right families. While the SPCA may not always have the specific animal a visitor is looking for, their kind and courteous approach leaves a positive impression. One reviewer was able to find a new home for a kitten they could not keep, while another adopted a beloved companion animal that has become an integral part of their life since 2018. Overall, the SPCA Cincinnati is described as a welcoming and well-run organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals in their care.
