They had a total of four works there, two was working, the other two was outside talking at the corner of the building the whole time, staring at us staring at them. If my work truck didn’t need the gas I would have left. All the trash can was overflowing full matching the rest of the dirty store.

Worst store in the area. Been there twice today. Closed both times. Around 12 pm and at 9:45pm. Been closing at 9:45 pm for about a month. Talking to Management and they said they should be open then. Nice try. That was 2 days ago. They closed now. 7300 Hamilton Ave

this used to be a decent speedway, was always packed tho especially at night. BUT LEMME TELL YOU WHAT HAS CHANGED HERE RECENTLY... it is ALWAYS CLOSED AT NIGHT now you can't go inside & when you see people going up to the door, an old black man strolls on over to crack the the door & asks you what you came there to buy. if you didn't come to buy gas at the pump with your card,
then you can't get gas with cash BUT you can buy some things in the store AT THE DOOR if you have cash.. he won't take a card. now mind you, he ain't finna be shopping around the store for you so you can maybe get a drink and some backwoods or something. he says that it's closed for cleaning but I pass by there every night anywhere from 12am to 3am that whole lot always dark. nobody even bothers the old man anymore cause he shady and bc what?? the gas pumps are pitch black idk if they even up to pay @ the pump bc it's waay too dark & scary for me to wanna try n see just to get snatched up in that lot. nope. 👎🏼 not me.

It can get busy sometimes they do have good coffee and a good choice of snacks and their gas prices are usually lower than most gas stations

Supposed to be open 24hrs, but somehow it’s always closed late night due to employees just deciding to take off for breaks. Leaving the store locked & closed. Update your store hours if that’s the case.

Last week, I complained to am shift about pm clerk behind the counter sneezing in his hands and handing me back my change. That concerned me as COVID is real, and I understand being short staffed at times, however the health concerns really bothered me. I expressed my concern to the morning management the very next day as I woke up with a stuffed nose.Yesterday. 12/31/2023, I was inside the location and standing in line. The clerk andre (asl trainer) was being very rude to every guest. Literally. Had a problem handing people their money, and screaming about germs. Me loving speedway, the energy is completely different at night than in the morning. Andre looks as me through the plastic, and I look at him. He looks away to attend to the customer in front at register and looks at me again. I smiled at him. No pun intended as I was in a very good mood. However when i smiled at Andre, he did not smile back. I thought go myself okay, thats weird.. but then he looks at me again... So I smiled again, thinking mayne he will smile back, and he frowned. So jokingly, I say "don't look at me and not smile back," and I said it with a smile and laugh. As I was just trying to cheer him up seeing how he treated the customers before me... Andre screams out loud, and I do mean in front of over 10guests in line, "oh no you smiled creepily at me and it reminded me of the woman that use to touch me"..?? I didn't respond to the last part, I simply said "well I apologize my smile creeped you out," and presumed to walk to the counter. His attitude got worse. He begins to explain that the only person belongings he touches is his husband. I'm keeping my smile on face determine to not let his demeanor and attitude ruin New years Eve, I say I understand, as I appreciate seeing you use sanitizer for you hanfs. It no problem. God is good. "And I think that offended him more as he began to angrily say, "I'm talking, let me finish my statement!" Which at this point I can tell he now had a vendetta against me. I still ignored that rude story of how my smile was creepy and weird, but I did respond and told him "it's news years Eve, everyone should be smiling ?" . As I begin to walk away the card system told me to remove my card, he snaps as says " you was doing all that talking that you ain't finish the transaction " , speedway.. I go t every morning for coffee for the past year, I knew I was waiting on him. And when he finished the transaction, I denied donating, he waved his hand at me as if I was a peasant. I asked for my receipt, he throws it at me. Literally, the receipt paper end up towards the right side by the credit card machine.I took out my time to write the details of this as I am walking out smiling as I do, I tell Everyone happy New years, and Andre, the clerk, yells out " stop smiling creepily at people!!"I can honestly say it's the first time I have been disrespected by any staff member at speedway. Especially this location being so close to my home. But this interaction needs a major fixing, as I mentioned he was not only rude to me, making me uncomfortable of saying I reminded him of someone who molested him, I am 5"3. Andre looked to be at least 5'9- maybe 6ft, weighing at least 250.. what did my smile do to make you that uncomfortable?? With his attitude, and behavior... It almost ruined my new Year's Eve vibe. I won't go inside that gas station if I see him inside there. Too uncomfortable. And no I do not know this man, have never seen andre before.

I go to many Speedways for lunch during the week and this one has the best staff member. She works the morning shift and always calls ya baby or sweetie or something.Only downside to this location is they could make one more pizza for the lunch crowd.
