If you’re in the market for confusion, mystery charges, and haircuts that leave your kids still looking like llamas—Stephanie and Shelby at Sports Clips are your dream team.
Neither one seems to grasp how their own waitlist works, but they’ll still act like you’re the one who doesn’t get it. After a wait that could’ve aged cheese, both of my sons were in and out at the same time—yet magically, one haircut “took longer” and came with an extra charge.
As for the actual cuts? Let’s just say nothing about their hair suggests they’ve been near scissors. Maybe they waved a comb in the air and called it a day. If you’re into overpaying for chaos and a solid petting zoo aesthetic, look no further.

Got my hair cut by Shay today. She was amazing. I am always a little unsure what I should have done. Shay asked me a few easy questions and gave me one of the best cuts I have had in a long time. She was very friendly and polite. I got her card and plan to return soon.

Store is always nice, neat and clean. They greet you when walking in the door with a genuine “hello”. Thank you Jessica for the great haircut. Best one yet. Thanks for stepping in when my regular stylist left the company. It’s appreciated.

We had an amazing stylist on June 2nd - LEAH!!! She said she usually works at the Anderson location but was helping out at Eastgate that day, and I am so thankful she was! My son has super thick, long hair and is really quiet, which can make getting the haircut he wants a challenge. I went back with him (total helicopter mom moment), and Leah handled it with absolute grace. No attitude, no judgment - just patience, kindness, and real skill. She checked in with both of us, made gentle suggestions, and managed to pull off a haircut my son actually liked, which hasn’t happened in years. She was genuine, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. Thank you, Leah, your talent and people skills are next level!

I brought my 6-year-old son here expecting a simple haircut and instead got treated like an inconvenience. The two women working last night were outright rude—completely uninterested and dismissive from the start. You could see they didn’t want to do their job; their frustration was obvious. The woman with the green bangs let out an exhausted sigh of relief when she realized my son wasn’t the next customer—like she was relieved she didn’t have to deal with him. Then the other woman, I believe her name was Ashley, rolled her eyes in disdain when she found out she’d be the one cutting his hair. She had my child in tears, screaming and crying, and couldn’t care less. His haircut was a mess—uneven, unblended, and sloppy. When she tried to cut his bangs, she just laid them flat on his forehead and went straight across like she couldn’t be bothered to do anything better. Not once did she ask if we were happy with the length or the style. She didn’t bother to put powder on his neck to prevent itching. It’s as if she just gave up halfway through and called it done. This was utterly unacceptable. I will NEVER return, and I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from this place.
