Standard Beer is a craft beer bar and store in downtown Cincinnati. It is described as a secret, cozy, and modernized place with a kitschy, laid-back vibe. The business offers a huge, diverse, and abundant selection of rotating craft beers, featuring drafts and carry-out options that are anything but standard, with many top-shelf beers not seen elsewhere. With 15 or more taps, it provides variety including smaller pours. The owner is super involved, hands-on, and fantastically kind, while the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely happy to interact. Customers can enjoy the environment, play board games, and bring in outside food. Parking is noted as a challenge, but the experience is highly recommended.
An excellent place to grab a beer. I stop by every time I'm in the area. A fairly small selection on tap but all of them are fantastic and fresh. Highly recommended.
