I went into the store as usual to get some juice and ice. There is a fat nasty little man in there who told a group of about 15 customers ( that consisted of black, white ,old and young)that he is tired of all the blacks in avondale. All blacks in avondale are stupid and can't read and that we all need to spend our money at A to Z market or J&W or the drive through up the street. So all the people started to put their items down and started to try to leave the store when he ran from behind the counter to show everyone his gun and put us all out of the store. WE WERE GLADLY LEAVING. Might I say we were waiting in line patiently to purchase our stuff. He then came out of the store and started yelling and cursing at everyone. I don't understand how you hate us blacks but wanted us to spend money at your store. That is located in a black neighborhood. Its really sad cause I would drive past 3 stores just to go to starr because the store cleaned up well...not any more.......Wake up idiot (lil fat man with mustache) without the blacks in avondale spending money at your store you will not have a store not in avondale. IF YOU HATE US THAT MUCH GIVE US ALL OUR MONEY BACK AND GET OUT OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. ITS THAT SIMPLE....I hope everyone reads this. Please share...please share...please share...stop his racist a*** He hates blacks DONT SPEND YOR MONEY WITH HIM...this makes me sad cause as long as I have spent money in that location to have that man tell us to our faces he hates blacks. I wish I could get every dollar back that I spent.

Lots of unique selection of Japanese rice cakes, dango, flavored fish, natto, and many more! I moved to Cincinnati from San Francisco which is a very Asian friendly and great city foodies. I was looking for a Japanese grocery store like you, Tokyo foods! The price seems fair to me compared to other Japanese grocery stores which is located in KY. I highly recommend here, and decided to spend $$ here to support them!

A good 20 min drive from Cincy, but it is a cute small shop with authentic Japanese products. They carry Sun Noodle Fresh Ramen kits, which is great! They also have a wide selection of frozen udon and ready gyoza wrappers for an easy Asian meal at home!
