I have given this place multiple tries and I have to say I’m disappointed, each time. Their selection is lacking and I also found that in what they did have, the quality was lacking. Their prices are also higher than what they should be for the quality. So it’s a bad combination of things.
One positive - the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Wish it was a better experience. Anderson could use a good butcher.

Awesome meat shop! Tastes fresh every time. I love that they have buns, veggies, sides you may need to make a meal and skip going to the grocery store. Manager Zach is always helpful!

The ground beef here is great. I've been using it to make tacos now for a few months. It tastes so much better than stuff bought at a grocery store or wholesale club. I have not tried the Italian sausage yet nor the streaks but I do plan on it soon enough. Especially the Italian sausages as I love a good alfredo with peppers and sausage. I will say that the chorizo is not what I would like but its hard finding that to taste like home without actually being in Mexico. Suffice to say these folks have made Taco Nights at my brothers a big hit and the meat really absorbs and brings out the spices. The ground beef fat just sizzles into a buttery perfection. Definitely gets a golden chefs kiss sticker.

My son and I have been to this butcher shop at least a dozen times. So:Service: 5-starCleanliness: 5-starFreshness: 5-starQuality of meat: 5-starPrices: 4-star ( probably higher than kroger or jungle Jim’s but absolutely fresh)Overall: 5-starToday we picked up porterhouse steaks and fillets for Father’s Day and they were perfectI thought my cost was acceptable for what I received, the quality and freshness!!!Suggest you give it a try or browse while other customers shop and then decideLocal small business worth supporting

This place is close to us and I recommend this to everyone in this area.Manager Zach is friendly and respectful.I usually get skinless whole chicken cut into small/medium pieces and they do it as per my request.I wish they opened a little longer.I recommend people support this local business.

We recently were having problems with buying meat so a friend told us to stop into Summit Fine Meats and we decided to get a pot roast and pork chops and some deli salads, they are the best, the meat was so good, it was delicious, I was totally impressed. We are going back tomorrow to get a lot more this time.

The quality of everything here is always amazing. When I want a good steak, (or any high quality meat honestly) Kroger is now out of the question... I'm coming here. I will forever be a lifetime customer!!
