Had good experiences in the past but I will never go back. Ciara up front was so RUDE! I asked a question and she rolled her eyes and said she didn’t know. Wow. I will just go to Harrison Home Depot from now on.

This store has gone downhill. The products are still pretty good. However, the employees are hit or miss (usually miss). For context, I'm not some fancy contractor and I'm not part of any skilled trade. I'm a guy who is just fixing up his house little by little.I've noticed that there are a few employees who are extremely knowledgeable. Those few are extremely helpful, and are willing and able to deal with multiple customers. There are other employees who are not as knowledgeable, but are courteous and easy to work with.Other employees (enough to make it a near regular thing), are honestly rude and unhelpful.Earlier today, I needed a board split and ripped so that I can fix up a part of my porch (long story). I needed a pressure treated 1x3, and discovered that they only have pressure treated 1x4's.I go to someone over at the register, and ask them who to ask about getting that done since nobody was at the lumber area (that I could see). He gives a bit of a huff and tells me that he'll help me once he's finished with the customer.I wait around for 5 or 10 minutes, and then ask another employee about getting the board cut. That employee tells me that she actually works at the desk, but will call someone. I wait around for 5 or 10 minutes more. I don't hear any call for anyone in lumber on the intercom. The guy who was helping the customer was gone and I couldn't find him.I go to a third employee and ask him (since he is now at the register). He spends a few minutes on the phone and until another customer needs help. He tells me that he was talking with the super, who would find someone to assist me.I wait around at the area where they cut wood and spent about 10 minutes calling my mom, since at this point it's been over 20 minutes, and it seems I'll be there for a while. Finally, some employee comes over to cut wood for a different customer. I explain that I've been waiting a long time, and I would like to get what I need done before it rains. He calls over a different guy, but they both made me wait while the other customer gets his wood cut. I'd waited at least 30 minutes minutes, and it was honestly insulting to see the other customer get preferential treatment.While I was waiting for the other customer to have his boards cut, I explained to the guy who was helping me that I needed the 1x4 cut like a 1x3 (2 and 3/4 of an inch). Once he had cut my board, he finally explained to me that he could not cut a 1x4 so that it matched the dimensions of a 1x3, which meant that over 30 minutes of my time had been wasted.There have been other occasions where I have find the workers rude or unhelpful.In one case, I asked about the size and pricing of a granite block that was being shown as a sample. The guy was visibly annoyed with me and told me to ask the guy at the desk in the carpeting area (the guy handling samples was with a customer). I have absolutely no problem with being redirected, but the annoyance was insulting. He is getting paid to be there, unlike me.In a third case, I had bought a pressure gauge for gas lines. A lot the ones they had were broken (and they seem very fragile), and I gave one that I had bought back to customer service on account of this. I found out later on that they simply put it back on the shelf.Another thing I've found annoying is playing tag with the departments. "Who do I go to in order to find out about shed kits?" leads to talking to at least 3 departments.In another case, I had to wait a good 10 or 15 minutes for somebody to find a red flag for me to put on some wood that I bought.There are a lot of little things like that. Home Depot has some really good people there, and they also have some people who frankly make me consider shopping elsewhere. This is from a guy who has spent a lot of my money at Home Depot.

Asked them to deliver a microwave. Instead of delivering they cancelled because they got lost, didnt call for directions, had me wait 4 hours after they said theyd deliver again, then cancelled the whole delivery.

I bought a washer and dryer, supposedly they told me it was going to be delivered 09/13/23 at 11:30 I waited all day they arrived until 5:30 with the washer they said they left the dryer installed in the wrong house they have a lousy service with deliveries, they should hire trained people. Very bad service. The appliances in customer service has a very bad bad service. I just wanted my money back I would prefer Best Buy or Lowe’s

I arrived at 8:10 pm on Sunday, thinking the store was open till 9:00 pm. Shortly after arrival, l heard the announcer politely encourage customers to make their purchase as the store was closed. I had difficulty finding the item I was looking for. A store attendant saw me and asked if he could help. He then guided me to the correct location for the item, and did so in a pleasant and friendly way, well past closing time. I'm noticing that customer service agents are very attentive to customers! Bravo!!!

I asked 4 staff members to help.I was looking for L brackets.2 pointed me to to the aisle where the corner brackets.The 3rd person wasn’t interested in helping me some I didn’t want to make an appointment to have my water tested for free.I walked up every aisle hold my breath trying not to cry out of frustration.I took a chance on the asking another staff member for help. This time she walked over with me to show me corner brackets.I took a few deep breaths google the brackets that I was looking forShe then pointed me to aisle 22.The only true help I received after 2 hours was loading up my car.I have been to this store multiple times over the years and this is the worst service that I’ve ever received

Nate the Great helped me problem solve on a project at my brothers, and is the most knowledgeable, and experienced HD member I’ve met. I’m a contractor and know my stuff, and he awed me with his knowledge and expertise on home improvement, gas/water lines specifically. I appreciate all of the help, wit, and knowledge Nate extended me. Thanks man, you helped me a ton!

Went into my grill and components had a representative help me out he was very informative that was trying to get more sales and I told him to stop that and he did but he was very informative overall very effective and pleasant and effective and very nice got everything done and one shopping trip five stars

Always have a pleasant experience at this store. Rebuilt my home using home Depot from door handles an locks, plumbing to paint water heater to sinks all the way to back yard gazebo an fire pit an so much u didn't name them literally sell everything a home made need.

Wasn’t too bad get unloaded about 45 minutes, grate customer service, she is nice I saw no spot in warehouse but she unloaded my truck and we good to early Saturday morning thanks , and I am ready spent my time without my family ☺️☺️☺️

Ordered a gas dryer to be delivered and installed and the dude who delivered it and was supposed to install it didn't know how to turn the gas valve off so he just left it for me to install. The picture of how to turn off the gas in the instruction booklet looked exactly like my gas line and valve. He's either lazy or d**** Maybe both.

Was in the store for 30 mins, trying to get paint. The two ladies just stared at me like I was an alien, and offered no help. Walked away and got other supplies, and came back to put order in for paint, again hey just walked past me like I wasn't there. Left cart full of products by their counter and left.
