The building on the left is the Great American Tower which is the tallest building in Cincinnati,OH. I'm fascinated by the design and architecture of high rise buildings. Therefore wherever I go, I visit the tallest building in the city only to take pictures.

(Translated by Google) The Great American Tower is a special building, with gradations on the sides that rejuvenate the tower upwards. The extraordinary thing, however, is the glass dome, which was placed on the tower like a huge piece of jewelery. And indeed, the architect Gyo Obata was inspired by the crown of Diana, Princess of Wales. He had stumbled upon a photograph of Diana carrying the tiara in an illustrated book. Under the glass there is a tennis court, from which the players can see a wonderful panorama in the outside world during the rest period. The glass and aluminum building completed in 2011 received various resonances in the architectural world in the following period. The building was praised on the one hand, but they did not hold back with criticism. In the journal Architecture, which rated the building as a whole positively, the glass dome was described as an image of that of the Chrysler Building, although the structure of the two domes are totally different. The former board of the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, Jay Chatterjee, even claimed that the design referred to the common style of the United States in the 1980s and was therefore no novelty in architecture. It is certainly consistent that the basic design of classic high-rise construction leaned, but in materials and details is quite individually designed. The envy that dominates the architectural world may surprise, but this does not break the joy of the viewer, who marvel at the successful construction.
