GM Shawn Carmichael provided excellent service. He was through in this explanation and even showed me my car on the lift so I would fully understand what and why I needed it.
I have never had anyone take the time to fully break down my car and the importance of needed services.
I was in for tires on one of our cars and plan to bring it back for the replacement of the rear brakes. On top of that, I will be bringing my son’s car in for tires.
I appreciate the honesty and professionalism, it shows that he loves what he does and is there to make sure to help and educate the customers .
You now have a loyal customer because of Shawn. You are lucky to have him!

Took the car in to get new tires as we finally had the finances to do so. Front desk guy Ken decided that while he was checking my tire size that he was going to just insult us constantly by asking why we allowed the car seat to get so bad, why we allowed the tires to get so bald, and why we allowed the car to have so many miles on it. After stating that I just did not have the finances but that’s why we’re here now, he was completely disrespectful and demeaning saying “I get the economy is bad but cmon”. I thought the uncomfortable conversation would end there but then when we can inside an Asian couple was standing behind us waiting and Ken decides to randomly say in front of the whole line that if they need something they need to say something to him so he “doesn’t look racist”. Safe to say the entire store fell into awkward silence after that. As a person of color I must say it made me feel extremely uncomfortable and we were extremely disappointed. I’ve grown up in this neighborhood, but we will not be returning to this location.

Shawn Ferguson helped me get my new tires in a timely manner. He offered to stay and finish the job although they were closing in 45min. He provided excellent customer service.

Went to tire discounters on north bend rd on 11/11/25 and dealt with a gentleman by the name of Ken who was very friendly, or so I thought. I was quoted $1295 for tires online, which I now understand doesn’t include installation and taxes. That’s fine. I had an appointment at 10:30 and arrived 10 minutes early. I was told it would be $1689 or something close to that, but Ken said “but you already knew that I’m sure” so I said “no actually I expected it to be less due to the online price” and then he says “it doesn’t include tax and installation.” So I’m like “ok thank you can I get an invoice?” And he hands it to me and I go home. When I got home I looked at the invoice and on there is an extra $244 and some change for road hazard. I did not ask for this nor did Ken mention it to me. Had I not looked I would have had to pay the extra almost $245 on top of the huge amount I was already spending! I called up there and road hazard is for if you have a tire that blows out. That $244 and change goes toward the new tire and you still have to pay the difference! But if you never have a blowout they just pocket that $244. Ridiculous! Ken said it would be 2 ish hours so I called at 1:30 and he said my car was “next in line” ummm???!! Why the heck do I even schedule an appointment if I still have to wait in line. So it finally was finished at around 4:30 and when I got there I told Ken I didn’t want the road hazard and that I could do a lot with that extra $245 just to let him know I saw what he did without asking me. Then yesterday I realized I’m missing two caps on my tires on the passenger side. They forgot to put them back on. Thankfully I’m not losing air but seriously. I will NEVER go back to this location and I will tell everyone about my experience here. You’d think knowing how hard it is to get by in this economy, Ken would be trying to save me some money. Maybe he gets commission on the road hazard but tacking it on without someone’s permission and not even offering a invoice until I asked, is not only unkind, it should come with consequences.

Went for a car overheating issue and Shawn was very helpful. He showed exactly where and what the issue was and helped resolve the issue in under 30 minutes. Recommend and will be returning.

Shout out to Tire Discounters North Bend! My tire pressure was a little low, so I tried to give it some air. In the process, I managed to make the problem worse! Tire Discounters was kind enough to not only take care of that tire, but also ensure that I had adequate pressure in all 4 tires! They did this at no charge! In this world where so many prices are skyrocketing it is reassuring to know that there are still kind people! Thank you! You have a loyal customer! PS. You might say that the price of inflation was free! Lol!
