I always leave happy but yesterday after telling a girl I specifically wanted something to be held until the next day for my friend and she said yes and then didn’t follow through is ridiculous. The other girl even overheard the whole conversation and instead of helping the new girl did NOTHING! What terrible costumer service skills

Mixed Feelings at TJ Maxx - Great for the Family, Not So Much for Men's Fashion
I recently visited TJ Maxx with my family as we were shopping for clothes for an upcoming wedding and looking for some shorts for myself. The store was bustling with options, and my wife and kids seemed to have a great time picking out what they needed, which was a plus.
However, as a man shopping for fashion, I often find the selections at TJ Maxx (and many department stores, for that matter) to feel like an afterthought. The women's section is always expansive and varied, while the men’s section seems limited and less prioritized. This isn't a new observation, but it's consistently disappointing when you walk into a store hoping to find a wide range of options, only to find limited choices.
This visit reinforced my belief that if you're looking for something specific or of higher quality in men’s apparel, you might be better off at a specialty store. It’s a bit frustrating to feel overlooked in terms of selection and variety.
That said, the overall experience was positive for my family, and the store did provide good value and selection for them. So, while I might have to look elsewhere for my own needs, TJ Maxx remains a go-to for family shopping trips.

Ok-ish selection of men's wear for decent prices. I think this place is way better for women's clothing. Men's fragrances are way overpriced for what they have. Can find the same bottles for 1/3 the price online, and this is supposed to be a discount store. Decent selection of home goods. Nice selection of cookware and scented candles. They seemed to have a lot of holiday decorations as well. Customer service was great, my cashier was very efficient and polite.
