I am an avid shopper and normally rent a uhaul truck twice a year a few days. I don’t normally use the same location because of mileage and normally rent close to my drop off location. I decided to use this specific location because it had the size truck I needed. So after loading up the truck I used the lock that was chained to the truck to lock it overnight. The next day I go to open the truck and the key doesn’t work. On the side of the truck it states for assistance to call Uhaul. So that’s what I did. It took hours for them to send someone out and when the uhaul roadside arrived they were unable to remove the lock so they cut it off Due to this taking all day I called Uhaul and was offered an additional day free for the inconvenience. The very next morning as I am loading some items onto the truck a man from Jen’s Furniture arrives and disables the truck stating that I would have to pay for an additional day if I wanted him to fix the truck. He starts to yell and scream saying f what Uhaul is saying. This truck belongs to him. At which point I threatened him with a lawyer and he left. Now Uhaul is stating I owe him money because the lock was cut by Uhaul etc. Every time I would attempt to speak to a supervisor at the local Uhaul regional number two females turns laughing at the situation and would even hang up. They black listed me from renting with Uhaul over 1 day that was promised to me. But don’t take my word I actually have screenshots from the regional manager. They pretty much just states they are sorry I was misinformed by the Uhaul customer service representative of me being able to keep it an extra day. But I was still made responsible for Uhaul cutting their own lock and for them having to recover (which I cleared the truck out and went with a different rental company). They disabled the truck that morning by noon I was already in another truck and had gave the keys to the Uhaul manager that I had to repeatedly call to get him to come out to assist with the overly aggressive man at Jen’s Furniture. I would not recommend Jen’s Furniture to anyone needing to use a Uhaul in the Cincinnati region.

Super friendly and helpful staff. If I ever move again I will rent from here again. The truck was very clean and maintained. The furniture in the store is really nice too and reasonably priced.
