They did a great job getting my Audi A6 diesel back on the road. They even found a couple of other things it needed and let me drive a loner for the 3 weeks we waited for the part to arrive from Germany! Excellent work and customer service!

Ulmers does everything for my little mess of a car. I completely trust them even to tell me when it’s time to pull the plug on my little car. They help me make a hard decision and then walked me through what to do next and getting a new car. I am a single female and feel like I am completely, taken care of when I go to Ulmers and recommend them to everybody that will listen. I feel like they are protective of me as a customer and as a person. When my daughter is old enough to drive, I will also send her there as well.

I don’t post reviews on this website, and lord knows they don’t need any more positive reviews than they already have, but I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if I didn’t post the miracle they performed yesterday.
My parents have a 2021 Chevy Traverse. Recently, they’ve been dealing with a ton of medical issues, so I offered to get an oil change. Apparently the folks at valvoline had stripped the oil drain plug and the top of it literally fell off. I get a call from the manager at valvoline, and since they couldn’t prove it was them, they wouldn’t authorize a payment.
At that point, I figured it would be a good idea to get these guys involved. No mechanic in the city would touch it but they offered to look at it for free and see what they could do.
My dad and I drop off the car and are waiting in the lobby, and Steve gave us a rundown of all the possibilities. To replace the oil pan it would be a 19 hour job and cost upwards of $5,000. Not gonna lie, my heart sank.
He’s going through these details and his apprentice comes in with a huge smile. He tosses me the broken half of the oil drain plug and says “I got it out.”
My parents have been through the wringer recently. My dad just got out of ICU a couple days ago, my mom just finished her second chemo appointment after being forced to close down her business. Stress has never been higher for us, and the staff at Ulmer’s were unbelievably gracious. I left the shop only down $150 with a half a drain plug and I immediately told everyone I know that they are the best mechanic in the city. I mean that. These guys are the people you want to do business with.
