Corporate office gets the bad review: My business CC has 38k in credits, 21k owing and this was supposed to be fixed last week!! The level of incompetence US Bank has EMBRACED since the pandemic has made it one of the worst banks to do business with.

Terrible customer service. I was hung up on multiple times, transferred everywhere, and never spoke with someone who could actually help or answer my questions

Closed an account after telling me it would stay open after several rounds of phone calls to mitigate the situation we were assured it would be open. It was closed with x >30,000 in the account. Everyone wants to apologize on the phone but not on paper. when checks bounce to vendors because you said my account wouldstay open it would be nice for you to take responsibility explicitly. We have emails where you’ve said this inadvertently, and an entire branch apologizing profusely. But wronged customers should receive it explicitly. Disrespectful.

This is the only bank I have ever dealt with that does not allow ACH transfers to be scheduled from their app. Every time I try it says "I do not have privilege". Extremely confused I did a google search. Sure enough no external transfers allowed in app. You must use the desktop version of the website. Tried that 4 separate times over two days. Crashed each time. The checking account is worthless to me without ACH transfers. I do not have a US Bank in the town I live in. I do not generally use checks or debit cards. Most of my transactions flow through my credit card for added security and purchase protection and then I make an ACH transfer to pay the balance in full each month. I guess I could add a direct deposit to the account, but I have great concerns over constant crashing. I have been with Chase for 16 years now and can't remember a time I had issues with their app or website. I specifically keep Chase as my bank for direct deposit because of how easily and fast they process external transfers (ACH).One last note. I have actually never encountered this problem ever at another financial institution before. Even at a single location credit union that I had a car loan at. I was required to set up an account when taking out the loan. I felt they were about 20 years behind chase on their website, but they made up for it with pleasant customer service always. They also allowed ACH transfers from Chase to pay the car loan. Then after my issues, I began searching other reviews of US Bank. Let's just say they are not impressive.Rant over, not happy, will try and close my account, but I'm sure they will make it way more annoying than it has to be and charge me a fee. I'm just glad I didn't take the time to set up my investments with them like I was planning.

US Bank will gladly have their app down for hours at a time and then not answer any calls. If you don’t bank between 9-5 (both in-person or digitally) then this is not the bank for you.

It was not welcoming to hear the teller go on a rant about people who received aid during the pandemic. Saying to "get a job". I tried to use my reliacard that I recieved a year ago when my work building was shutdown, thankfully, I am back at work now, but I just wanted to get the last of the money out from my card. I felt very unwelcome and see why there's a 1.6 rating. The teller was not very polite and instead of listening to a word i said, she just made assumptions. I work customer service as well and could never be classist towards someone. Very sad how she could be rude towards people because she just assumes they're lazy when there was a whole pandemic that shut down entire industries. Perhaps this teller should go through trainings on how to interact with a financially diverse customer base. You work at a bank downtown, not some exclusive hedge fund...so why be classist?

I have been with US Bank for almost 6yrs. I hate this bank. I’ve tried to get them to help me start building my credit and I get told they can’t help me. But my biggest issue and why I’m changing banks, is I have $2,500 taken from my account, I called us bank immediately when it happened and reported the issue, after weeks of waiting they tell me I was denied my claim and they still made me open a whole new account. I will never bank with them again, if this is how they treat their customers... Oh and every time I call them I get transferred 5x’s before I can get someone who can or is willing to help me.. this is unacceptable ! And if anyone reading this is from the corporate office please feel free to contact me anytime, you guys have my contact information!

Lobby is open, but apparently they don’t to turn on lights. Every time I go in this branch all they want to know is if I need a new credit card.Update:I came in again, the tellers are horrible, I can not get over how slow this branch and bank are.

This address is listed as US Bank corporate HQ. US Bank is a predatory and unethical agency. Fact: I paid my balance in full (as I do every month) via mailed check dated and post marked 2/15. Fact: I paid (3) other utilities the same way on the same date. Fact: all (3) other checks were cashed 2/21 Fact: US Bank charged me a late fee and interest on 2/22, and held my check until 3/1 when they finally cashed it. This has happened several times. So many that I started tracking when I mailed checks to them. It is clearly a business practice of theirs and we are canceling our account after 15 years. Shame on you US Bank. Update: we called US Bank and they said they were fully aware of massive post office delays in St. Louis and have adopted a policy that only if customers call to complain will they remove charges. So as I said, predatory and unethical business.

We have been a US Bank customer for well over 10 years. Checking, Savings , Mortgage, Home Equity, HELOC, etc. We have always had a great experience with them until recently. I wanted to increase my existing HELOC approximately 15%. I was told that I basically needed to reapply, which I did. The experience has been a total nightmare. The local mgr. along with the so called loan officer were very unaccommodating, slow to respond, not very knowledgeable and refused to discuss concerns and questions, which is the complete opposite of what I experienced during my initial application process. After weeks of frustration, I sent an email outlining my concerns and asking for assistance to the local mgr. where my application originated. That was almost 3 weeks ago and I have yet to receive a reply. I would suggest you avoid using US Bank to avoid unnecessary frustration and hassle, especially in the Cincinnati, OH market. In the near future, I will be closing all accounts and ending my relationship with a company that shows no concern or appreciation for existing customers or customer service as a whole.

Why are the lobby's still closed. Masks work, right? The other banks in my town have had the lobby's open for months now. I work for a company who has an account here. I get change on a regular basis and still have to wait outside. I'm on my feet all day, so even if I have to wait inside I can still have a seat, it feels good to sit! It's getting colder now and this is BS. I am not blaming the ladies who work there, it's not their fault. They are all very friendly. Sometimes I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes outside, depending on how busy they are inside and how short staffed they may be. It's a major inconvenience. And now this branch is closed on saturday!!! Wth? I'm going to request another bank.
