I didn't want to get any closer of an angle that might awaken him but THIS is a man who sleeps in our main post office lobby right below the letter drop 365 nights a year for over a year. The City Gospel Mission and Kitchen (that serves males) is just a few paces away. This man literally lurks behind the front entrance until the post office closes. I about screamed bloody murder one night as he was hiding in an alcove. No one is willing to step up and get this man actual help. Meanwhile no one feels safe in the post office -- including the postal workers. Epic fail by so many people including the post office supervisors. Get a security guard until this resolves itself! They make plenty $ off those p.o. boxes to afford a security guard Call the City Gospel director. Do something!

If making delivery DO NOT follow GPS. Soon as you exit make the right on Findley and take to the end. Turn left you'll see entrance gate straight ahead. Go thru and around building to man door by dock 12 to check-in. ( On photo blue dot is check-in/ red pin is entrance gate.

This post office has the most amazing staff. The taller gentleman with the big beard that was working the front counter is incredibly professional, helpful and friendly. On my last visit there my husband lost his wallet. He had no idea where he had dropped it at but today it came in the mail from the Dalton Ave post office. That guy was the only person working so I know he found it and was kind enough to return it to us. Talk about going above and beyond. He needs raise asap.

Never paid me for orientation. I've called multiple times only to be met with a rude employee who didn't care and rushed me off the phone. It's not my fault you're short staffed. I just want to be paid for my time and receive my mail and packages from 3+ weeks ago through today. Then send a letter in the mail weeks after I quit saying I went AWOL. Glad I chose to quit and found a side gig elsewhere. Not worth the headache and will no longer do business with USPS. They've become completely unreliable when I've had no issues with them before. Calling and emailing doesn't help, so I'll have to be there in person until I get what's owed to me.

There aren't a lot of amenities in this part of town. No restaurants or shops. Really just a bunch of industrial buildings, factories, & offices. But 2 days a week, I'm down here, so I've got things to do, right? I had a package to mail & had never been here before, usually relying on the Covington or Newport USPS locations. But the weather was miserable today & I found out that this place was a quarter mile from my office.A decent amount of free, no hassle parking in a lot across the street. The post office itself is in a huge building, so tall, in fact, I wasn't quite sure I was in the right place until I went inside. Rather than wait in line, I settled for the self-service machine & was in & out in a couple of minutes. The parking lot also has a drive up option if you just need to mail something simple.

The guy that had assisted me while I was there was super nice and helpful, he seemed kinda new so he may not have had all the answers to my questions, but I'm an engineer and sometimes I ask excessively. I went at 6:30pm and was a bit disappointed when I discovered there was no printer. I practically teleported to the public library and back. I walked in at 7:02pm [just after close] and the same guy recognized me and scanned my package in! I was relieved to get it done today :] Also the people outside nicely informed me of the hours while walking in, so good community too.

Like I began with a lot of my reviews, I have awful anxiety and I struggle with things at times.I feel like the people here have been extremely patient with me and I really appreciate that. I didn't think I would receive any of my packages today. I was about to cry when one of the people walked in with the package. I feel like people would think I'm weird for being so upset about it but the things I order would be comfort items that I'd carry around with me.Thank you so much for not getting frustrated at me.

Someone stole my item you can see someone tampered with the packaging
