Went here to mail a package and the man who helped me was one of the most friendly people I have ever met. The line moved quickly and it was a pleasant experience.

Does anyone know why the inside package drop off is always locked? I’ve come three separate times in the past four months, two of the times was during business hours, and the box is always locked. The line to the front desk is always so long that it’s not worth the wait to ask. But at the post office I used to live near, the box was never locked and open at all hours so I’m just confused.

It is a step in the right direction that mail clerk Tom has been reassigned to another postal station after causing customer frustration for years at 45209. He truly should have been dismissed from USPS due to his reign of terror, rudeness, ineptitude, and demeanor for customers using this postal station. Tom's lack of knowledge and personality issues resulted in hours of problems for me as a customer. Tom made Oakley 45209 a place to avoid for USPS services.

Be careful going here if you don’t leave time to go to another post office. The postal workers will close before business hours

I've been going to this post office for quite a while and it seems like the wait times in line have been increasing lately. I don't know if it's due to lack of staff or what, but today I experienced what seemed like harassment, the way the clerk kept asking and asking more and more additional services that I've never seen anyone be asked to that extent before. It led to the customer bursting out into tears and multiple customers started arguing. I don't know what changes has happened recently but you can sense the tension. Its like a complete vibe change at this office now

My complaint is the actual mailmen. Apparently, they don’t pick up outgoing mail from your mailbox. My outgoing mail sits in my box for up to 5 days! Other people complain of the same thing! Why isn’t my mail picked up???

This is by far the worst service in the history of humankind. The little munchkin behind the counter simply makes up rules when he doesn't know how to do something and he doesn't know how to do much besides sell stamps. On more than one occasion I have had to deal with him, unfortunately, and always end up leaving and having to wait another day to go to any other post office I can find in the Tri-State area. My carbon footprint has increased because I am forced to drive to other locations to get the service I should be able to get and my neighborhood PO. No wonder they are losing money.

Dread going into my local post office (Hyde park) usually a 30 min wait and only one employee. Do better

If you enter this location, know that you are entering Thomas’ domain. Dark haired, glasses wearing, clerk who will make it undeniably known that it is his way, or the highway. This dude wields the smallest amount of power, but uses it to rule over people in line like a tyrant. He is hands down the rudest person, maybe ever. It’s almost comical. Like he’s doing a bit. I’ve had multiple interactions with Sir Thomas and it’s almost like a test. I seem to always fail and I then get scolded. I’ve been so very close to telling him off, but it’s just not worth it. Last little tidbit: be cautions handing Thomas a fragile package because once he checks it in, his go to move is the no look toss of said parcel into the bin. Zero regard for the contents.
TL;DR Thomas is quite possibly the rudest person on the planet

I use this branch all the time. Sometimes the employees are stressed and it shows, but I don’t fault them for that. HOWEVER, Thomas (clerk# 45) is one of the rudest people I’ve ever worked with. Everything needs to be difficult. He told me to get out of line to fill out two lines of text, wait in the line again (yes, he definitely told me to wait in line again) just to throw a fit because he “told me that I didn’t have to wait again.” He gave me a pen to fill out the form, was annoyed that I tried to give it back to him, proceeded to tell me the pen was mine, I forced him to take it back (because I wasn’t carrying around cheap blue Bic pens that day), and when I needed a pen again, he told me I couldn’t use it because he didn’t have any and he doesn’t give out pens. So I just stared at him until he gave me the damn pen back. Apparently it hadn’t magically evaporated. I had a line out the door of witnesses behind me. 4 people mentioned to me that they hate working with him because he’s so rude and difficult. The pen thing is what really got me. This guy must be high if he’s forgetting events within 1 minute of them happening. It’s either that or he’s on a gravely misplaced power trip. Frankly, I like some of the other employees at this branch. How this idiot has kept his job is beyond me.

There's a clerk there named Tommy Pretty who is the rudest customer service person I've ever dealt with. (For the record, he gave me his name passive aggressively when I said I was going to complain on the survey at the bottom of my reciept, I never asked for it.)I needed to sign a customs form, so I asked if he had a pen. He said he didn't, even though there was one by his hand. He said I'd have to get one from the table. So I turned to get one from the table 10 feet away and he gives up my place in line (there were 2 people behind me, it's not like there was a long line.)I get back to his counter and asked why I couldn't have used his, he said he was a germaphobe. I asked him why there weren't any that customers could use and he said he didn't know, that wasn't his job. I asked him why he couldn't have grabbed me one from the other cubicle 6 feet away from him. He said they weren't his.I watched 6 people wall out of that post office pissed off because Mr. Pretty was such a petty ashhole.Yo, I don't even live in Cincinnati. I'm here for a visit. But this dude was such a supreme jerk wad that I felt it necessary to say something here.I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with this piece of work regularly. And may the gods bless his poor coworkers. To be forced to work next to that guy must feel like a complete miscarriage of karmic and cosmic injustice.

The male clerk working here made me cry. Will not come back. You never know what people are going through and it costs nothing to be kind.

Someone needs to to fire the “guy” who was working the desk today. He has an extremely nasty attitude and horrible customer service and crunched & balled up my envelope that I was mailing out and just threw it to the side as opposed to just sitting it in the basket. He didn’t have to crumple & ball everything up. Then he got attitude with me when I asked for a receipt. Someone also needs to remind him that he’s not invincible or untouchable. Is my parcel does not get to its destination. I’m pretty sure I know why.. if he doesn’t like his job, he needs to find a different one not come to work and be nasty to everyone and incompetent. English cigarettes don’t get special treatment..
