After having breakfast at nearby Wild Eggs, we walked a few blocks to Walgreens because we needed to buy some things we forgot to pack on our trip to Cincinnati. The issue is, when we got there, Walgreens was not open. We got her 10 minutes before opening. It was freezing as it was 40 and we were feeling it even with our coats. Thankfully, a store employee let us in a few minutes early. He totally could have let us freeze out there. I really appreciate he let us in.Typical Walgreens in regards to what they have inside. We combed through the aisles and found the items we needed. After paying we quickly went on our way but got a Lyft back to the hotel. Again the guy let us stay in the store until Lyft picked us up.

This is by far the worst Walgreens in the Cincinnati area. Every time I go to pick up my prescription their pharmacy is unexpectedly closed.

My visit started with the streetcar outside actually. I had to wait almost 30 minutes to catch it and had some time to kill, so I decided to go into this Walgreens that I had not visited in awhile just to see what this store had as opposed to my regular Walgreens on Race St. I remembered that a few years ago I used to come to this walgreens very often to use their pharmacy and at that time all of the employees there were friendly, nice, and all around pleasant. That was not the case this last time. Approximately one month ago, as I was in there killing time, I noticed a gentleman following me all through the store and I wondered why because I was doing nothing wrong. In fact, this gentleman was so obviously following me that it made me nervous and I kept walking from aisle to aisle to try and see if he would leave me alone just because he was making me feel as if I was being stalked. After about 15 minutes I had accumulated a basket full of cosmetics I planned to buy but I wasn't done looking to see if there was anything else I needed, so I hadn't yet headed to the cash register. All of a sudden my stalker asked me if I need any help in a rude voice that insinuated I was not welcome there. I told the man I did not need any help but I asked him what the problem was as nicely as I was able to. He said the problem was that I kept moving things and sitting the mess back on the shelf(this was not true at all cause I meticulously put things where they belong) and he had to clean up after me. (Turns out this man was their day manager.) I responded by saying I really didn't think that I had left a mess anywhere but if I had I apologized and figured at that point he would leave me alone, but he just went on to rudely say that he would walk me to the cash register I could pay for my things and then I needed to leave! I'm a regular looking person. I'm clean and I have money so there was really no reason for this man to be so rude and to usher me out. I responded by saying that I really wasn't done but since he liked cleaning up after me he could have my basket and he could put all of those things back that I'd originally planned on purchasing because I was insulted and now I was going to leave without buying anything! I mean why would I spend my money in a store where the manager treats me like this? This j*** gets promotions and bonuses based on sales and I did not feel like adding to those sales at that point! After I said that to him he accused me of stealing which was silly because he had followed me around for so long there was no possible way that could've ever happened (not that I was doing it anyway.) Even if though he knew good and well that I'd done nothing wrong, I opened my purse to show nothing was there and so he says what about my jacket, so I take it off as well and turn it inside out and show everyone he was lying and I was innocent! I mean this man made a huge scene! Anyway, he should be ashamed of himself and I hope nobody goes there for that very reason. Go to the Walgreens at 601 Race St cause it's only a few blocks away and they're nice!
