The food was excellent as always. Service was somewhat slow, although it was clear that the restaurant was packed and there were several noisy parties in progress. I think in the future we'll avoid "prime time" when we come in again. The food is worth it!

We had a holiday celebration and were fortunate enough to attend when the restaurant was serving its “December lobster dinner”. My wife loves lobster while I am ambivalent. But since it's preferred that the entire table participate if ordered I acquiesced. And wow was I glad I did. Each dish was excellent though the course with black bass was particularly delightful And as usual the service was outstanding. Cannot recommend Le Bar a Boeuf highly enough

The menu had changed since our last visit. Food and service still very good but disappointed that their hamburger and frites were off the menu. We think it would be a positive even if the burger price had to be increased due to the high cost of beef these days.

Anne is an incredible waitress there. And is incredibly wonderful to deal with the drinks are good there and the food was very good.

This is a gem of a restaurant that we need to visit more often. The service was impeccable, very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and really made it an enjoyable dinner. The food was delicious, somewhat French bistro inspired. We would highly recommend.

Another amazing dinner! Can't say enough great things about this restaurant and the amazing service. Scallops were absolutely unreal, escargot and duck confit Mac and cheese are classics for a reason!

Our waitress, Emily, was absolutely wonderful and added to our enjoyment of the delicious food and ambience of Le Bar A Boeuf. Definitely will return!!!

Everything we ordered was delicious--the pate, lobster bisque (never thought I would pay $19 for a bowl of soup, but yes, it was worth it!), small beef wellington, and my husband got the salmon. The bread was also delicious! Friendly service, but it got slow between our apps and entree. We had almost finished our bottle of wine by the time we received our entrees. We had to rush by the end of the meal and skip dessert. Our waitress told us that several tables had to be out by 7:00 PM (ourselves included) due to tickets to a play. We arrived at 5:30 PM and should have arrived at 5:00 PM for a more relaxed service. We thought 1.5 hours would be enough as the website indicates that a table for two only gets 1.5 hours. Overall, a very good experience! We plan to go back.

We had a lovely dinner after cocktails and we shared a bottle of wine. We had the steak special and the beef wellington after escargots. Chef Patrick Building on his new winter menu.

The food itself was okay (not my favorite but at least good quality ingredients) and the service was good but it was WAY overpriced. $14 for a very small cocktail that wasn't that great, over $40 for a small scallop dish that was overly sweet, and $16 to add short ribs to the already $23 penne noodles which were unremarkable. Overall, I left feeling like I wasted my money.

Lobster bisque lacked flavor, too much of the Cantilly cream. Beef Wellington appetizer was a bit tough. Escargot was excellent.

As always foods/ drinks and services were all very good! When I leave --- I always think " when can I come back "?!?! One of my favorites---- don't close!! Must keep Jean Roberts vision alive !!

Beautiful eve to sit outside for dinner. Food was really tasty . Server missed a few things I.e. Short Rib on Mac n Cheese .. brought new plate out with really small piece of short rib; tasted great but pricey for the additional charge . Love the place.
