Great until you try and cancel membership. My wife, Myself, and a few friends have all gotten memberships around the same time, ran through outer contracts and then closed our memberships. Not one time have any of us gotten through without paying more after cancel. They will claim you will have just one more payment. My wife had her account hit her credit after closing (because they never closed it), had friends get charged an extra three months after closing, and myself after at least 4 years of membership, have been told the extra 20 is from a bounced fee. My bank has gone negative for this membership anytime it has tried to pull with no money, I have no notice of an attempt through my bank.Possible scam? It's $20 extra minimum if you want to leave them. With all this said, I have gone through 4 different agencies that they run their payments through sense they have opened. At least they are running payments in house now.

Don't even bother with this gym. Go to Planet Fitness across the street. This location hardly ever had staff there (as it is with most of their locations), so if you're wanting to tan, you might as well forget about it. Bathrooms are dirty also. You pay too much for so little, plus they fail to tell you when you sign up that your contract auto renews if you don't cancel in time.

I have never been on to write a review for just about anything. But I have never been so compelled to write one until now. This place is the absolute worst, in every which way. Signed up in February 2022, the manager at the time was very sweet and let's be honest there's not many other options. Not long after signing up, i quickly realized how unkept the location was. Got ringworm under my arm due to lack of sanitizing which isn't necessarily there fault, but the members. The bathrooms were unusable. Always urine and fesces on the toilets, trash canisters over flowing.I have an auto immune disease so I didn't work out for a few months due to health issues. Tried to cancel my membership during this time but no one ever returned my phone calls and staff was never there.Fast forward, feeling well enough to work out again- but no longer have my key fob over the last two months.Unable to use the facility or obtain new key fob because again- no one is ever there during staffed hours.Aftermonths of calling, emailing, standing outside facility doors. I call corporate age they advised they would have someone who oversees the location call me back within 48 hours. I gave it a week. Surprise no call.Began calling and calling again until finally, yesterday the "district manager" Keisha answers. I tell her I'd like to come in and cancel and she says Ok, then immediately hangs up. Only to call me back after and say that I am unable to cancel because of my contract. I break down the situation, she proceeded to tell me it's my fault that I have lost my key fob and haven't been able to use the facility, though there has been no one there during staffed hours to obtain a new one or enter. She was supposed to email my contract- never received. I've been calling non stop since and 24 hours later finally got through to "Brandon" at another location who tells me Circleville is not staffed, yet again. Then said to me "do not put words in my mouth" though i have NEVER claimed to speak to him. FINALLY after MONTHS spoke to the VP (who was kind and understanding) and she scheduled me an "appointment" to cancel my contract, due to my doctor filling out a note for me.I'm absolutely disgusted by every ounce of this facility and customer service.Do yourself a favor and go to PF across the street. UNREAL

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I got locked into a 3 year contract and moved shortly after and despite moving over an hour away I had to continue paying for the membership! I missed a few payments because I was sick of paying for a gym membership I wasn’t using and they would call me everyday 3 times a day leaving voicemails on my phone. I’ve been trying to get a hold of them to pay off my contract in full so they will leave me alone and now they won’t answer any of my phone calls. Also if you don’t cancel your contract, it auto renews!

Worst gym in pickaway county. Do not sign a contract with these people. They'll lock you in, and after your contract is up, they hide away an auto renew section of the contract and continuously charge your card and want you to pay for months that you aren't even planning on using their facility. Keisha will ignore your calls and give you the corporate answer when she does decide to answer. This facility is nothing but theives.

Don't get locked into any contract at this place. Do the trail period first. Then if you like it, do the shortest term you can. The new management is good it seems, but just take care with these contracts with membership. One star rating due to issues I had with the previous management over breaking said contract. And the prices. And the cleanlessness of the gym overall. 1 star, would've done zero if it was an option tbh. I would recommend the new planet fitness across the street next to Walmart, heard good things about them.

Be warned - became a member Dec. 2020 and in that time they've had at least 4 different managers. The manager that was there when I signed up was a friend and did a great job but since then there was a definite decline in community and care.A few years ago I left the Y for Snap in town to have earlier hours and then left Snap for Anytime due to proximity to my old home but given that Anytime not only does a contract, but also makes it difficult to cancel I would recommend anyone in the area steer away from this location. For example, even though I've moved out of Circleville to the northern part of the county I was told the mileage to GC and Cville locations is "too close (25 mile range)," the GC location is about 10 miles out of my way from home and work and I don't live in Cville (18 miles) anymore so this is a convenient clause in their contract. My contract has just expired and they require it to be processed in person which is inconvenient and certainly not a customer first policy, especially with many corporate chain gym's allowing you to cancel through websites and apps (which Anytime has) ... I mean its 2022 and I have to sign a form in person with ID to cancel an expired contract....?? :/ - UPDATE TO THIS - learned that the day you “cancel” is actually a 30 day notice and they still have three draws after … kind of shady with how this is communicated and handled.Beyond that the equipment is okay and you can pretty much do any exercises you wish, typically its fairly clean during the week when staffed and organized but with so much turnover in site management over the last year and half it has been very inconsistent and I got tired of having to re-rack other members mess and search for items that I didn't use. There is also the risk of being lectured by trainers for being to loud when lifting heavy almost like Planet Fitness "clunk alert" ... even though the plates are all bumper and use so much space on the barbell you can't really lift that heavy anyway... or receive unrequested "coaching" while you're working out. The former never happened to me directly but I did witness it with others on multiple occassions and adjusted my workout time to avoid being around trainers for those reasons as the latter happened to me a few times. The Y and Snap in town are much better choices if you are looking for something in Circleville. Don't let there sales and discounts lure you in like I did, its not been worth the hassle.

I have never had any issues with this gym. Always clean, always somebody willing to help, always very polite. Up until recently. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in January of this year and it has become progressively worse. I can't bend and move the way I used to be able to. It's hard just to do day to day physical tasks at work as well, therefore strenuous work outs and weights are out of the question. I don't want to cancel but I don't have a choice. I'm not going to continue paying for a service that I don't use due to a medical condition. I haven't used my membership in months due to this condition so I figured I would go ahead and cancel. During a face to face meeting with a representative at this facility I presented the results from my original ER visit from January stating that I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and a spinal process fracture. During the same ER visit they found that I had covid as well. The doctor's notes say that I can return to work after quarantine but nothing about my degenerative disc disease. I returned to the same ER to see if I could get an updated doctor's signature but they informed me that a note like this would have to come from my family doctor. I do not have a family doctor. This is all the proof I have unless they want a print out of my spinal x-rays. So after the representative at the facility canceled my membership and received my fob to get into the building I get a call today saying they cannot cancel the membership. This is also after I had already talked with an ABC fitness representative over the phone (ABC fitness handles the financial aspect of the facility) and he assured me that the membership would be canceled and to disregard any further fees or issues. So you canceled my membership and took my fob now you're saying you can't cancel it but now I have no access to the building. How unprofessional and incompetent. I have already contacted the corporate office in hopes that this can be resolved in a timely manner and that no further steps need to be taken in order for this membership to be canceled.

I love this gym for several reasons. I was taught how to use the equipment well, several different machines to work with, and nice friendly people there. Thanks Anytime fitness!

Signed up with wife told they don’t offer couple discount… found out through corporate they do, but they want change it, also told it was a 2 year plan , they now say it’s a 3 year plan and they want a year fee for canceling our plan , so they were dishonest , and not willing to work with you

If I could leave a negative review, I would. This place doesn't call you back, no matter how many messages are left asking for a call back. They will not respond to you on a Facebook message, but will leave you on read. They will ignore any comments or post on their page, too.I show up today in person to cancel, after what seems like months of trying to cancel by phone, and the manager isn't there. The office was wide open as I called and called, watching the office phone light up. I waited for about 10 minutes until a trainer asked if I needed anything. The trainer looked around the building (it's not very large) and said, "Well their car is here, but I don't see the manager anywhere..." The trainer took my name down, but didn't ask for a call back number. I was assured it's "on file."If the owner reads this... call me so I can cancel my subscription to your gym. I'm told my number is on file.

I would not recommend this place. I got pregnant not long after I started going here. I called to speak to someone about canceling my membership ship because my ob recommend it. They advised me I could not do that unless I pay like hundreds of dollars or I could put the account on hold for 3 months but um your pregnant for 9 months?. So whatever I just kept paying the monthly fee and now I am about 7 months postpartum and I called to cancel because I only signed a 15 month contract which would have been up in June 2021. They told me I could not cancel until January 2022 without paying $200. They should have a better program if someone gets pregnant or has a medical reason to cancel! I will say they had a very nice gym and nice employees but as soon as my contract is up I'm going to 24 hour fitness.
