I have been to this shop twice now once in 2020 and again about 3 weeks ago. So helpful and friendly both times. The only negative thing I can say about them is I ordered some guns from their website and I am still waiting on them to arrive, of course I know it's not Excalibur fault but it is frustrating. I travel an 1.5 hrs each way just to go to this shop I love it.

I have bought most of my guns from this store. Not once did I have any problems with the guns I bought nor any problems with the staff. Staff was always very helpful with me. Highly recommend them

This is a review of the Circleville location. Their customer service is good as well as their knowledge. I've had transfers done here and they go smoothly. Their prices are a little high. I recently made a purchase that was priced a little high but they had it in stock. I've been keeping an eye on pricing and stock and haven't been able to find what I was looking for. I asked if it was their best price and they said yes. I was there, they had it, so I bought it. A week later I find it at 2 other places for $30 less (local) and $40 less (Columbus, on sale, and with a range pass). Definitely disappointed with that. These guys are usually at shows and have a decent amount of inventory there. I've purchased from them at shows, mostly accessories, multiple times. Most times I've been to their store their inventory has been light. This visit they had a decent amount of stock. The main reason for the lower rating is their pricing.

I've been in this store multiple times and not once have I encountered a rude employee. I'm always greeted by friendly knowledgeable staff. They even had a gunsmith on staff to look at one of my pistols when it was ejecting incorrectly.

Knowledgeable sales staff, awesome selection on hand, plus direct relationship with mfrs., you can go in and tell them what you want, and they will order it. Great place, just good ol' mom and pop gun store. Prices are good too!!

My go to gun store and the owner is great as well (Mike). If they don't have what you are looking for, they can find it for you. Been a long time customer. Thank you for being there for us!

This is by for the best guns store around. They dont screw you in price and will always work with you. The one thing that most dont understand is why they never really have stock inside. Gun shows are every weekend. Everything goes to those. Plus in this day and age its difficult to get your hands on anything. Just be patient.....its worth it

The lady working in the store on 1/12/21 was the most unfriendly, useless person I have come across in a long time. She couldn't even do something so simple like say hello and goodbye back to me. I will never spend a dime of my hard earned money on a place that has zero customer service.

I live in the metro Columbus area and drive through both Circleville & Chillicothe to visit family in the southern & southeastern areas of Ohio. I misspoke in a prior review about stopping in the next time i was passing through Chillicothe - that should have been Circleville. I had the good Fortune to shop with Excalibur at a gun show in Columbus' former Sears building in the old Westland mall property this 2020 Thanksgiving weekend! As a left-hander I have carried an early version Gen G19 with a right-hander's mag release. I had been looking for a more recent Gen4 or Gen5 G19 as with these newer models the mag release can be flipped for left-handed shooters. Excalibur was located center isle right in front of the entrance. They did not have a G19 that day, but did have a Gen5 G19X. I was happy to go with the G19X!! The guy showed me how the mag release was switched...an easy enough task. However, having just arrived, I asked if he could do the flip for me as he was, I'm sure, more experienced at this than myself. I left the purchase with him while looking over other vendors goods. When ready to leave about 3 hours later, I stopped by, stating I was there to pick up my....and the staff finished my sentence for me, "...the Glock 19X." Their efficiency, customer service were excellent! And the memory (given the number of folks they deal with per hour, let alone in 3 hours, in such a busy setting) was impressive. Well done all!!!

This small town gun shop is absolutely terrific, I bought my first handgun there the day I turned 21! I still remember leaving the BMV across the street and slapping my still hot ID on the counter minutes later haha so I buy my Glock 19 and come to find it has a cracked front sight, I've already shot it so they couldn't take it back but they gave me a new set of trigicons at cost to make up for it! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. So I will say this, the people leaving all of the negative reviews are the snowflakes that wouldn't have any business inside a gun shop anyway. I would brush every one of them under the rug. If you need guns or ammunition, good luck finding it closer to Columbus. I don't even know why you'd read reviews at that point. They don't price gouge and they have a lot of inventory compared to most others right now. Again, I would literally scroll past every negative review, as they're all complete garbage from a bunch of whiney snowflakes.

Put my gun in there for their gunsmith to work on. I had already diagnosed the issue and was told it was a 2-3hr fix. It took them 3 months to even start working on my gun. The gunsmith literally only told me what I already knew and suggested expensive fixes for a budget gun. After I refused these costly fixes my gun was broken further by their gunsmith and no effort to make it right was made. It then took another month for my gun to be returned and they still had the audacity to charge me $42 for a "service charge". When I picked my gun up the owner asked why I wouldn't let them fix the gun so I explained my reasoning and he became very defensive and stand offish.Within 2 weeks I was able to order the parts and fix my own gun for less than half of the money it would have cost them to do the exact same.Do not let these people rip you off!Poor customer servicePoor pricingPoor business ethicsPoor quality of workDamaged my gun further when I said no!If I could give 0 stars I would!

Very friendly owners. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews when I have never had a problem with them. They've always help me out.

Bought a Military surplus rifle And had it transferred to Excalibur for the transfer. Great experience! Very professional people, excellent communication, very knowledgeable about firearms, this is the fourth time we’ve used them over the past 18m and every transaction has been top notch!
