Requesting for body cam footage they shut you down,no respons I guess you need a court order to get body cam footage. Officers come on your property dont make a report, this is crazy.

You can tell what kind of place you are in just looking at the police. That being the case, Cleveland Heights must be a shithole based on their police force.

Racists with badges who arrested a man they almost crashed into with a cruiser for declaring he was going to file a complaint. These cops are the scum of the earth. The very reason good cops get shot.

Video of sergeant know nothing makes police officers look bad. Please train your officers right and retrain to ensure they are serving our oath properly

The men and women of the Cleveland Heights Police Department are true professionals who are there when you need them. Locked your keys in the car, they can get them out. Want to file a report, they are happy to get the facts. Most of all however, when the moment arises to call 9-1-1, they will be there to help when nobody else will and will not let you be a victim. Obey the speed limits and don't park your car on city streets within prohibited hours and that will resolve 90 percent of your gripes. Keep up the great work CHPD - you guys rock!

I locked my keys in my truck at Home Depot this morning. I called the Cleveland hts police department and they said someone would be out to help. 5 minutes later an officer showed up and in 3 minutes he had my truck unlocked!!! I didn't expect it to be that fast and saved me from having a longer work day!! Thank you so much, be safe!!

cleveland heights police like giving invalid and erroneous parking tickets. Ticketing vehicles in cleveland heights municipal lots for parking in alleged "disabled spots" that aren't legal disabled spots. Both state law and cleveland heights municipal code dictate that designated disabled parking spots SHALL BE DESIGNATED through the posting of an ELEVATED SIGN." There is no such "elevated sign" here, there is only what appears to be the remnants of a sign that was cut off years ago. And yet cleveland heights police is still giving out tickets for parking in this spot, that clearly hasn't been a legal disabled spot for years? Try to contest this in court and you'll be charged in court costs what you would have had to pay for the ticket anyways. It's an absolute trap and ignorance on the part of officers who don't even know the law and ordinances they're purportedly enforcing. vultures.

The CHPD has always been amazing. My boyfriend and I got locked out of the car. They came and assisted within ten minutes. They have also been kind enough to sweep the house for me when my alarm went off and the door had been cracked.

Interpersonal skills are a must in this profession, and seem to be entirely lacking from the majority of CHPD officers. It’s pretty obvious that their training is minimal at best. Very poor communication skills, aggressive behavior, lack of knowledge on the laws they attempt to enforce. The community deserves better.

Decent police department . Humane people that show understanding and empathy . I’ve never had a problem with any of the officers I’ve ran into while living in Cleveland hts.
