My first experience at the Studio Taylor on Fairmount, was wonderful. This time, not so much. The hair washing was fabulous and relaxing however the haircut seemed a little rushed as the next client was ready and waiting. The front desk personnel were not very welcoming and seemed rather snooty and condescending. The blonde hair girl was very pleasant though. Rather overpriced considering the impression given at the front desk upon entry and when leaving. They didn't even say goodbye and I think they were eating. I felt more welcome and appreciated for my patronage at the Cracker Barrel.

I got my nails done at studio taylor, I’ve always been super self conscious of my nails because I am a nail biter but Natalie did a beautiful job and made me feel so out together !!!

Busy holiday weekend before Christmas. I need a cut and walked in. They were very busy but I happened at the right time they had an availability in 15 mins. for a walk-in. Victoria I believe was my hairdressers name. She was wonderful as everyone was actually. Everyone was so nice, polite and accommodating. I will do be back next time I need a cut. Thank you so much. Fantastic job!.. 👏

Poor communication not happy at all. Price was not accurate and different services were not communicated . Had to go home with wet hair and now I see my hair is black and my hair is dark brown ,so I got the wrong color too. Super frustrating

Visiting Studio Taylor on Fairmount was a complete letdown. Their prices were unreasonably high, and what's worse, they didn't provide any estimate before starting ($200+ to be exact for a medium length cut and color)! They went ahead with services without properly discussing them with me, and unfortunately, they didn't deliver what I asked for. I left with a haircut that was a mere trim, not the shaping I originally asked for by any means, and a disappointing dye job. It’s now been almost two weeks later and the color has already faded significantly. Not worth the money by any means. If I am paying over $200 I expect to leave with hair I feel confident in and something I WANTED. Don't waste your money here, I won’t be returning.

I asked for a bob hairstyle, and there was a girl who didn't even know how to do a haircut! She just simply cut the half of my hair and blow-dried it and rolled it inside! after I arrived home and took a shower, I noticed there were some parts longer and some parts shorter, and back of my hair was awful all my colleagues and friends were laughing at it! It was terrible! I called them and they told me to go there again with the same hairdresser to fix my hair( they didn't even apologize for that) but the way she cut my hair I'm completely sure she didn't even know the basics of haircuts! I couldn't trust her and I will never ever go to this place again, and I'm not recommending it if you wanna do a short haircut!

Unethical. My mom is homebound and critically ill. When I requested the appointment I told them specifically to call my cell number. Apparently, they had my mom's number from prior records and left several messages on her machine (the ringer on the phone is off to allow my mom to rest). When they finally called me on my cell phone they indicated that I had missed the appointment and would charge me $350. I asked to speak with management, no one called me back. I explained the situation and they still indicated they would charge the card on record. They actually sent my mom a card in the mail indicating that they would charge me. Wow. Disgusting and unethical. Shame on you studio on taylor.

I was lucky enough to get a walk up appointment, and they were so nice and fast. It was a great haircut and very normal priced for the area and type of salon. I will definitely be going back.

Sammy is great! She always does a nice job and this particular visit allowed me to skip the cut and just do a touch-up color with blow dry. Very reasonably priced.

I haven't been in awhile, however there was a young girl who used to do my pedicures. She was the sweetest, fun conversations, and mentioned that I had a mole on my toe that I should get checked out. I don't remember her name I wish I did and I wonder if she's still there. This was back in 2014. My pedicures always turned out nice and I also got a wax here. The lady was so professional and made sure I was comfortable.
