“We have been bringing our cats here since 1982, first seeing the late Dr. Marty Farkas, then Dr. Tree and Dr. Banta, now seeing Dr. Vartorella. The vet techs and front desk personel are wonderful too. Everyone is very thorough and compassionate to both the patients and their human family members. I can't recommend BPH enough!”
“Upon reading many many of these less than stellar reviews on Dr Mandel's practice, one thing rings true. When it comes to the care of our special loves, the reviews are all five stars. It is obvious, the negative reviews are all written by people concerned about themselves, not those for whom the practice cares and treats. I have known Dr Mandel for nearly a half a century. He doesn't have a nasty or rude bone in his body, and would do anything for anyone. He has been my veterinarian for more than 20 years. If it is not clear by his responses to reviews, good bad or indifferent, that his number one concern is the welfare of his patients not their caretakers, then maybe you should go somewhere else. Everything he does is based on his love of animals. Maybe read his responses again if it's not obvious to you.”
“I absolutely love Hillcrest animal hospital. All the staff there really know there stuff! They are genuinely kind, caring animal lovers! I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else!! I know people who left there for cheaper vet offices. They realized the difference and came right back to Hillcrest animal hospital. If you want the best for your pets don’t go anywhere else.”
“I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Claire and everything she has done for my sister and her sweet pitbull over the past year.
When her dog suffered a partial stroke and lost a lot of function in her legs and arms, Dr. Claire was incredibly supportive and referred her to a veterinary neurologist, giving my sister hope for a better outcome. Eight months later, her dog has recovered more than we ever could have imagined, regaining so much of her strength and coordination.
Unfortunately, she later needed a complicated surgery to remove a tumor from her jaw. Dr. Claire was once again there every step of the way, keeping my sister updated, communicating clearly, and continuing to support her before and after the surgery. Thankfully, everything went smoothly with no complications.
I’m just so thankful my sister and her dog have had Dr. Claire in their corner through all of this. She’s the kind of doctor who makes such an impact on a family that you can’t help but be grateful for the care and compassion she provides. We truly can’t thank her enough.”
“Solowitz has been our vet for decades. They are getting a little expensive and I understand it of course. But not sure how much longer I can afford them. Especially since they don't do payment plans anymore. I do get of course people probably screwed them out of money. But no plans isn't fair to us who have always paid them back.”

“Since the very beginning of 2023 I've had an outstanding and amazing doctor, Dr. Mitzi Laubli, who brought my kitty back to health in certain areas, scheduled very detailed, and accurate tests, which resulted more reasonable than other locations. Staff was compassionate, knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr. Mitzy gave me amazing and helpful suggestions, went way out of her way to suggest the very best scientific supplements on the market, and even told me why she suggested them for my kitty's ailments and sometimes even responded on weekends with what I perceived as urgent matters. I couldn't be more supportive and grateful to this hospital, doctors and staff. In fact I am beyond grateful because there wasn't anyone else out there or hospital out there that would have totally cured her of certain conditions. It's been 3 years without a single hairball. She was vomiting hairballs every couple of weeks before I came here. Now nothing! That is truly unbelievable and totally amazing. Who does that!? Really! And that's just the beginning of my amazing experience here at this hospital. And during these years, I have experienced nothing but outstanding medical support, especially for cats, that I wouldn't have found in a million years in any other place. That's the truth.”
“Dr. Hankins and staff have been the best from top to bottom for anything we’ve ever needed for our fur babies! Dr. Hankins treats your pet like it’s a family member and nothing less. She really cares and wants nothing but what’s right and bestfor these “kids” as she calls them. My dog Rory loved going to the vet to see her, he was never afraid or anxious to be there.”

“Wonderful vet. You can tell this dr is truly an animal lover. She took my baby in on short notice due to some acute issues (which may have impacted the other cat in my home, as well, if they went on longer). I had experienced some oversights at a different office and took my kitten here the next day. The doctor at Just Cats assessed and treated him thoroughly. I am very confident in the care I received for my kitten. I plan on now establishing both of my cats as patients here. Thank you, Just Cats!”
“Very welcoming vet. I was charged for a follow-up and testing that duplicated a 3-week prior visit. Same results, of course. I ate the cost bc it was basically my bad for trusting a follow up was needed ?!
Vet costs have sky-rocketed due to equity groups buying them out. I recommend verifying costs BEFORE your visit (especially follow ups). I like the location and the staff are all professional, friendly, knowledgeable. Everyone there seem to really care about and enjoy animals which is key, imo.”
“My Great Dane got bit by something in my backyard. He started getting reactions from it . They said bring him in by 11:30 and they could fit him in. They took great care of him. He is a happy boy once more . Thank you Suburban Vet !!”

“My dog was sick with Giardia. They can see your pet without appointment. There was understandably a waiting time as many pets were there waiting to be seen. Staff was very understanding. It's a no frills office but I prefer that. Kind of old school practice which I like. Vet was patient and business like. Prices were reasonable compared to other places. I would highly recommend and this will now be my pets vet.”
“We were lucky to have Dr. Amy to care for our 17-year old cat when we traveled recently. While our cat went in hissing, Dr. Amy became his friend and even managed to trim his hind nails. It is always tricky making arrangements for our cat, who needs medication and lots of feedings. Nubbin even gained some weight!”
“So I just got my first dog from the pound and I brought him to family pet clinic for his first check up since rescuing him. everything was fine, my dog was comfortable and relaxed at the place and everyone was friendly. the tech and the vet were very courteous and patient with my dog he was well behaved also by the way LOL but after my first check up with the dog and feelings the "vibe" from the doctors and staff I feel it's going to be a great fit for me and my pooch.. I’ve been bringing my cat to Dr. Price for the past year while she’s been dealing with a bladder stone, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the care we’ve received. Dr. Price and the entire staff have been nothing but helpful, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process.
I also want to give a special shoutout to Patty at the front desk. She has always been so helpful and patient with us, and I really appreciate everything she’s done.
My cat had her surgery yesterday, and she is already feeling so much better! I’m so grateful that we chose Dr. Price to take care of her. The cost of the surgery was also very reasonable, and the aftercare was explained throughly, which meant so much during such a stressful time.
Thank you to Dr. Price and Patty for taking such great care of my girl. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and reasonably priced veterinary team! ❤🐾”

“Dr.J. Hs taken care of the girls (cars) and Shelly (Aussie) for years. I’m lucky because Shelly likes going to the vet, the girls not so much(they just want to run around outside). Excellent care. Just be careful depending on where you live. The exit ramp from 480E to 77S is closed right now, so I had to take Brookpark Road, which is a little bumpy at places.”
