I went to Advance Auto Parts yesterday after work. I had gone to a different auto part store first seeking a battery for my car, and was informed they would not install it for me because it was "too cold" (isn't that when batteries often need replaced? when it's a bit frigid outside?). I called Advance from the parking lot of the other store and inquired if they would be able to install a battery for me. They said sure, and I could come right over. I walked up to the door and they asked if I had just called, I said yes. We walked in, I purchased the battery, and they went right out and installed it while I waited in the warm building. I was there a total of about 20 minutes, and I very much appreciate their help and their great attitude!

Assaults & Batteries........ Store #1537I would absolutely rate the store on 6000 Brookpark road with zero Stars if I could. During my adult automotive life, I have relied upon and proud to say I use and trust Advanced. We are flabbergasted by the ill natured actions towards a paying customer from a public, reputable company, like advanced auto parts.Since I was a child, working on cars with my dad. Being backyard mechanics , we always appreciated it, and found Great value in the Advanced Auto Parts name.Without passing over possible legal barriers, I would like to give you a brief rundown of what occurred on 12/14/2023 at approximately 12:30pm at 6000 Brookpark Road. Store #I will briefly explain what occurred on December the 15th at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the 6000 brookpark Road Cleveland Ohio location.I recently purchased a 2002 Ford f250 super duty and required many parts to update this used truck including lighting and many others. While perusing the store and shopping for new parts for my new trucks that I was not familiar with I came across the light bulb section in a certain aisle and decided to start price checking bulbs and comparing prices with online retail. In the beginning I was approached by a young female in a wheelchair who asked me if I needed help finding a bulb which I replied yes and she did a fantastic job helped me solve my problem and left me to further fill my cart with items to update this older truck that I recently purchased. Not even 3 minutes after the young girl went back to her desk another woman decided to engage me. She asked me if I needed help once again and what was i looking for. I replied no thank you, I'm just price checking here I might be a little while..Beginning to feel frustrated and rushed a third and final woman approached me. This large, accusative woman with red hair and apparently manager of this location decided to ask me once again what I was looking for and why I was taking too long in her store. Now quite upset I replied no I do not need any help and do you people want me to leave for some reason? I further explained that I was ready to spend a large amount of money on a truck that I just purchased and needed to price check items and that I was going to take a while and why I was being rushed out of the store. She replied well we usually don't have people taking this long in an auto parts store that aren't up to something... At this point I pushed my car to side and decided I would not spend a dime at this location and let her know that I would be spending my money elsewhere.Beyond my belief as I am walking out of the store I hear a boasting voice behind me yelling get out of my store. Except not that nice and using extremely vulgar cus words. At the same time a small gentleman behind the desk, said to me what am going to do about it? and threatened me verbally.Not having any way of defending myself decided to leave the store and seek further help from possible law enforcement. The actions of the staff that day were absolutely disgusting and I felt threatened and humidified humiliated afterwards and still distressed to today. I know the owner of this company is a great man. Never allowing this to happen in any of his stores.I believe you will write this situation and do the correct and honorable deed. Getting rid of these poisonous personalities in his company would be the first action and contacting me personally to right the situation. Otherwise I will have to have my voice heard. People don't have to be Soo nasty to one another.

Strange experience. Left my light on a work so had to get a jump. Went here to get the battery and starter checked. Guy checked the battery, said it was good. Said I needed to turn the car off to check the starter. Turned it off. Wouldn't start back up, so guy said he'd have to charge it to check the starter. Before we got back in the store...without checking the starter he said "the battery is good so it's the starter" I assumed he was going to check it but he was adamant that it was the starter. I had him jump the car and went around the corner to a mechanic shop. I'd been there before. I told him what I needed a new starter and that I'd leave the car with him. Went to get my things out of the car and decided to turn it off and on again to check. It started right up. I did it a few more times. Started right up. The owner of the shop decided to check it for me with a very simple instrument compared to the guy at the parts store. He said "nothings wrong with your care" Long story short...the gut at the parts store is not to be trusted. I almost shelled out $450 for a starter when my only problem was I hadn't let the car run long enough after jumping it.

Zero stars , the manager Woman, large red head, very rude and violent. Save yourself and font go here . They all need to be fired and punished for their behavior. I was assaulted verbally by the staff because I took too long to pick out my items. I suffer from autism (borderline spectrum), and it takes me a while to pick things out, and I have to price match everything to get the best price. I was harassed and will be filing charges. The district manager said he would handle the situation and get back to me but never even had the decency to call me back. I'm still waiting.. shame on you people.

I'm eternally greatful for their patience and gratitude while helping me source my rear brake hose. *2001 Chevy s10* I look forward to working with Advanced Auto parts in the future!

Got wiper blades today. Rob hooked me up. Installed them... had an issue with the driver side and got an upgrade. But he got things right. If you need something.. ask for Rob. Big props ?
