Hi, i work in customer service too so I would never write any bad review for any business or store. But I did it today cause I feel really dissatisfied about my experience here with him.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this AT&T store last month. My iPhone 15 Pro Max was broken and not working, so I went in to see my options. A representative told me I had to pay off my phone, which I was ready to do. However, without explaining things clearly, she added a new line and sold me an iPhone 15 for $600.
Just before I was about to leave, the store manager, Frank, called me back and told me I could trade in my broken iPhone in any condition. He even looked at my phone and confirmed it would work for the trade-in. The only requirement was that I erase it and return it once that was done.
Today, after finally erasing my phone, I returned to the store, only for Frank to completely backtrack on his word. He acted as if the original deal never happened and refused to honor the trade-in. Now, I’m stuck with two lines to pay for—one of which I never wanted in the first place.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I feel misled by the lack of transparency and accountability. Customers deserve honesty and proper explanations, not last-minute changes and unexpected charges. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

I spent two hours in the store, and the manager, Tara, was extremely unprofessional and rude. Despite purchasing the phone, I left the store without my service activated, and had to go to another AT&T location at 2027 West 25th Street to resolve the issue. They you to the workers at 2027 west 25th for me helping.

The way I was treated at the AT&T in the Steelyard was very devastating! To be treated this way by a Woman who is titled as a Manager, shows that a lot of these customer service industries need to re-train their employees. The flip phone I recently bought was clearly defective because after less than 24hrs after opening the box, the middle of the screen went from glitching to black throughout the screen. The associate who tried to help me, needed to get approval of the phone being returned due to how the screen looked. When the Manager addressed the problem, I was ACCUSED OF CRACKING THE SCREEN AND SITTING ON MY PHONE!!🤯🤯🤯 it was other customers in the store and I started crying because why would I just damage my phone and I didn’t see any cracks in the screen. According to AT&T policy, You can return a defective phone into AT&T within 14 days and with Buyers Remorse you can return a defective device with 30 days; my phone was brought back to the store within 48hrs of picking up my phone and less than 24 hrs after opening the box. I think the worse part of the situation was being falsely accused of damaging my phone then when I challenged the Manager, she at first told me she was basically done talking with me. I sat there and cried because when did customer service turn into where employees can just accuse you of something that didn’t happen. The female manager with sister locs or dreads also told me AT&T wouldn’t believe what I said happened to the phone( after I waited for the manager to finish helping another customer, she did take her attitude down a notch and stated her boss told her “no” to accepting the defective phone back)I will add a positive, after me and the female manager second interaction, she did write Samsung number my receipt and told me to contact them) I went to the AT&T on Brookpark RD and the Manager their turned my old I-Phone back on so I could at least have a working phone. I wonder why wasn’t this option offered to me at the Steelyard location, which is the location my phone was recently purchased. My best friend told me to contact another AT&T near me and the Manager their was very helpful. The Manager at the AT&T that I won’t name, not only told me their was no crack in my screen but filed a warranty claim that I didn’t have to pay out of pocket for😢😢😢🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 The Manager at the other AT&T was very compassionate and went above & beyond to assist me. He even processed a warranty claim and the phone was not purchased at his location. I guess the Steelyard makes their own rules and do not follow AT&T return rules. The only reason I went to the Steelyard location is because I work at the near by hospital and thought it would be more convenient….. I will also be reporting this situation to the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint through AT&T. I am not looking for anything free but I want the STEELYARD LOCATION TO BE EDUCATED ON HANDLING CUSTOMER Interactions. Yes I became upset with being accused of cracking my phone and sitting on it but who wouldn’t be but I never used profanity and I wasn’t disrespectful…. In customer service, one of the questions they ask you is handling customer situations and I was failed as a customer….

I was told to purchase some things that I was not interested in, that would be advantageous for the one purchase that I came to make and I found out that I was misled and lied to. There was nothing that could be corrected after the fact. I would not trust any salesperson. I would basically purchase what I'm there for and not listen to their salespeople.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! THEY WILL LIE AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!! I would leave 0 but I can’t. They lied to us saying it was a promotional deal for a new phone with a phone case but now I have to pay way more than I even attended. I went back to discuss these new charges and the dude that helped us lies straight to our faces saying he never did that. Then the manager can’t even help us cuz it’s past 14 days even though he knows we were lied to. This isn’t his first time and my husband is dyslexic which he took advantage of. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

There’s a reason this location has great reviews. I’ve never written an online review in my life, but I felt this level of service needed to be acknowledged. I was ready for a new phone so I went to the nearest location which ended up being this one. Delonte is a perfect salesman; friendly, not pushy, but knowledgeable and clearly good at what he does. I had to go back 2 weeks later to turn in my old phone and he remembered me and everything about my order and I was in and out quickly. Not to mention all of the other employees were also friendly and helpful. I’ll never go to another location!

Avoid a disaster !!!I have 7.5 million views. If I write a bad review, it's only because I was screwed over. I walked in and asked to activate service. Mind you, my phone is paid off. It took the BIG PUERTO RICAN GUY (He told me he was Puerto Rican) 30+ minutes and 2 other employees to step in and help him. I was compassionate. But boy, did he screw me over. I have cancer, and I can't afford an exaggerated bill. This IDIOT decided to put me on a business account with the highest plan. My first bill is $188 REALLY!!! I never consented to this EVER!! The store employees refuse to take responsibility, they tell me call 611. Customer service never answers the phone. AT&T is the worst
