I booked bellhop for a move from downtown to the east side of Cleveland. The initial experience online was easy and customer service was very pleasant. I did receive a call from the movers a few days in advance confirming Services.
What was NOT made clear as that this company is contracting private movers and trucking companies to the job, Not Bell Hop specific truck, driver, or movers.
While my movers were very professional, on time and helpful, our truck showed up 45 min late to the wrong part of the building. On evaluation, the truck had no moving supplies including straps to secure items, no loading ramp, and was overall not appropriate for moving residential furniture.
The movers were unable to contact their manager, who was not answering any calls or texts for a solution. After I spent 30+min
on the phone with customer service, bellhop was unable to provide the trucking services needed to complete this move requesting I reschedule.
They told me they would call back in 15 minutes to confirm a next day reschedule for 8am. They requested that I verbally give a full inventory of all boxes and furniture moved despite the fact that I had filled that out ahead of time for my move online. The customer service rep stated that I was likely Inaccurate in my initial count of items, as most customers are not truthful about their number of boxes. I did not appreciate the insinuation that I was a liar after bellhop was not able to provide the contracted services that I had paid them to provide.
I then waited over 2 hours for a call back which never happened. When I called back into Customer Service, they said that they could not reschedule in the morning or offer me any solution other than rescheduling at times that I was not available.
Bellhop has caused me significant and undue stress in an already stressful time of moving to a new home. If you are looking for a reliable moving company or an easy and smooth move, I would NOT choose Bellhop.

Jarvis and Keyair were very professional and did a wonderful job moving large pieces of furniture to different floors of our house. We would definitely recommend and use them again! Thanks guys!!!

Jarvis was very friendly and professional, and the entire move took 2.5 hours for a 1 bedroom apartment with a fair number of boxes. Solomon got through packing them in the truck quickly and competently. Dave helped them both unload, they were good about asking where things should go and moving the bed after they had reassembled it in the bedroom. Thanks so much!
The one issue was related to booking this move, which got changed multiple times. I got really frustrated with the disconnect between the movers and me separated by the middle man, the national bellhop. So if there were an easier way to use the same team that didn’t involve layers of other people making it hard to communicate, I definitely would.

Jarvis and his team were punctual, friendly and eager to get the job done. We could not have loaded the items we needed to load without the efforts of Jarvis and the team.

Jarvis and the Cleveland team did a phenomenal job loading up all of my stuff. Everyone was on time and super nice. They worked efficiently and quickly. They took great care in wrapping my items so nothing got damaged during transit. I even had a 42" glass table top that made it safely to my destination. The DC unloading team was also punctual and efficient. Douglas did a great job communicating. They got me all moved into my apartment within an hour. Truly wonderful experience. This was my first time using a moving company and I'm really appreciative of the positive experience. I will definitely recommend and use Bellhop again!

Very positive experience. These guys were very courteous, and professional. What is amazing however is their packing skills. They squeezed many round pegs into square holes. Very pleased with the outcome.

These two were the absolute greatest. They moved the couple things I had so quickly . They were flexible with my schedule and just all around great guys I know would highly recommend them to anyone using bellhops!!

We were lucky and got Solomon as our lead both times. He and his team, Jarvis, Franklin, and John worked professionally, quickly, and efficiently; particularly John and Solomon.
While we did not use Bellhop's full services to pack/wrap our belongings in either of the moves we've used them on, we were satisfied with the services that we received.

Rick and Jarrell moved my mother and my sister. They were professional, friendly and took extra care to help my mother with her transition. Before leaving they asked if there was anything else we needed and helped arrange the larger furniture around her new apartment. I highly recommend Bellhop for your moving needs.
