They don't take insurance, I am on Medicare and they will not take it. I need electric wheelchair was told they started at $1400 dollars I can't pay that.Need to keep on looking.

I have a family member who needed a wheelchair and this is the first family member who did so I was totally unfamiliar with the mechanics on the mechanics of the chair. I went to the store on a weekend and the woman who was there was very helpful. I purchased the wheelchair and some additional equipment she recommended. When I went to put the wheelchair in the car, the foot rests were still attached and I couldn't them off or close the trunk. I went back into the store to ask the employee for help in removing them. I was like talking to Mr. Hyde. Now that I had made the purchase she was rude, impatient and said in a loud voice something like "I showed you how to remove the foot rests. I'm busy and you can figure it out on your own". I turned around and left. I will never purchase anything from that store again. And this same relative will soon need a medical bed, etc.

Buckeye medical has been so helpful both in educating and supplying me with all of the equipment we needed to bring our dad home from the hospital. Tried to return unused items. Exceeded the 14 day return policy, but under a month's time. Unfortunate situation. Would not recommend to others if other options are available.
