This branch use to be a great place to do business, however the new branch Manager is awful a seems a bit racist. Terrible Customer treatment.EveryTime I go there it’s an issue, they make it complicated to do business.Overall not a friendly place to do banking. I would give this branch zero stars if I could.

Citizens Bank practices deception. This branch manager looks out for only herself. This bank reniged on an online banking offer. I have been tricked into opening a non bonus account; they denied the bonus code. I hope that I can get my deposit back and close this account.

This branch has extremely poor customer service, in my experience. A couple years ago, one of their people helped me open one of their high interest savings accounts, along with a linked checking account. I did not get the interest rate that I was quoted, so after a couple months of no interest, I went in to ask about it. The account had been opened wrong, and they were able to fix the issue, though there was no offer to compensate me for a couple months lost interest. Then, a couple months later, they suddenly started charging a monthly maintenance fee on my account. I went in to ask about it, and I was told that my accounts were never linked correctly, and the grace period for this fee had ended. They were able to link the accounts, but I was told I couldn’t get those fees back without talking to the manager, who conveniently wasn’t there. I asked when the manager would be there, and they said next week, of course when I returned the next week- no manager. Whenever I asked when the manager would be there, they would tell me a different day, and I would find on that day that the manager wasn’t there. Finally after about the 5th trip looking for the manager, she was there and she finally returned those fees to my account. Needless to say, I went to a different branch to close my account, just so they wouldn’t mess that up too.

This bank is so horrible. I have experienced overdraft twice without any reasons. Also, I requested explanation why my account automatically overdrafted without my control, but they didnt answer clearly. Today I will cancel my bank account here. This bank is so awful.

This bank is terrible service. I have experienced with several overdraft fee for reason that of shortage fund but in fact the money was in the other account and the banker did not give me an advice. In addition, this bank is not popular in America. It is hard to find them in other State and Big Cities such as LA and Anaheim.

This place must have been robbed numerous times, because the security measures to enter are EXTREME! The entryway only allows for one person at a time. You walk in one door, and a red light holds you to be examined by a metal detector. Then, if you're not packing heat (which I wasn't today...), it allows you to walk through by a green light shining next to the second door. At that point, you'll allowed to join the line and get your banking taken care of. I needed an ATM, and figured because of all the security measure's, this one would be inside rather than on the street - but NO! There is not a safe interior ATM. They send you back out into the neighborhood - which, mind you, they protect themselves through two locked/secure doors. How does that make sense? I, slightly nervous, walked back out onto the open street to work with their ATM. Luckily, it's not on a side street, so at least if something goes wrong - you're out in public on St. Clair. I'm loud! I think I'll go back to East 9th for my ATM needs in the future - but if you're in this neighborhood and need to do actual banking - if you can make it past the metal detectors - rock on!
