Cleveland Rocks Climbing is a world class rock climbing gym located in the historically renovated Ohio City Masonic Temple, a unique and neat facility. The beautiful 18,000 sq. ft. space features three separate climbing areas with the tallest roped wall at 54 feet. Climbers can enjoy lead climbing, top rope, bouldering, and auto belays, with a diverse range of routes offering plenty of variety and challenge. There are mainly top rope routes with four auto belays and lots of great lead routes. The gym also includes a cute basement bouldering area, a co-working space, and yoga classes. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, kind, caring, encouraging, and incredibly accommodating, with patient instructors. The facility is beautiful with a range of setting styles, and regulars seemed friendly. It is a great experience for kids and first-timers, with attentive instruction. The gym also features a precious clothing thrift shop, goodies at the front desk, and great gear to buy. Visitors had a blast and found it to be a favorite, looking forward to returning.
Was a little intimidating at first but, I got over it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Super cool climbing environment and really fun top rope routes.

I'm 68 years old, and I was able to climb on my first try. They are very safety oriented. I was not allowed to do anything without proving that I could tie the proper knot, and adjust my harness correctly. There are plenty of people around to help if needed. I plan on going back.
