This is a very good, but typical Costco. Everything is clean and fully stocked and the staff is always on top of it. Sometimes, the produce does have mold and/or is wilted which is sad to see. The food court is a bit of mess as they never seem to be adequately staffed for the amount of people who crave that $1.50 hot dog combo, which is turn, creates a mob of people always swarming around the dining tables. Additionally, while I've always liked their strawberry sundaes, their fruit smoothie was a bit too watery.

What's NOT to love? It's Costco, and from what I've heard and believe since I come here often, it's supposedly the second busiest one in the country. If there is ANY downside, that's it. It's always busy. My favorite place to shop though, and it's minutes from my house.

How can anyone live these days without Costco! The store in Mayfield Heights is always crowded. I think it's time to open another one nearby. Solon would be a good location.

I was having a pleasant experience until the checkout. I usually go to the Strongsville location and at that location you simply pull your cart up and 1 of the 2 associates at the checkout counter put your items on the belt and ring you out. At this location I was met with impatience by 2 associates at the lane I picked and I put my cart in the lane where the sign said cart and walked to the register with my boyfriend where the associate then told me "you're supposed to unload your cart but it's okay this time". So I'm very confused why 2 associates are needed at a single checkout register if they don't bag items and customers should unload the cart themselves? Sounds like someone just didn't want to work and was taking it out on me. I've asked friends who have been to other Costco locations in the area and all agree that the associate unloads their carts with no issue. I will not be returning since she felt the need to single me out.

Great products and prices. Decent service. But unfortunately - every time I go to this specific Mayfield Heights location, every single staff member from door to membership counter to register is incredibly rude regardless of time of day/shift/level of busy. There have maybe been 1 or 2 standout moments when staff wasn't blatantly rude as soon as you walk in the door without reason. I honestly hate going here because of this but I don't want to cancel my membership because of the wholesale prices.

Trash, if I could give this store zero stars I would. I absolutely hate Kirkland brand and they have no variety amongst their products. Most of the ingredients in Kirkland brand products are toxic very toxic more toxic than other leading brands and even generic brands not only are they toxic but they are expensive for no reason. You can't even shop here for free you have to pay for a membership on top of their over priced products that are low quality. The only upsides are the food court and the rotisserie chicken. The food court is pretty nice. Also the parents that shop here are out of order, they love those stupid ass Kirkland brand baby wipes. And last time I was here I was quite fried and this one couple had this child that kept annoying me. I was sitting down on the couch and they kept letting their child come up and scream at me and annoy me. You guys never really have coupons or good deals. The worst part about the store isn't even the store it's the people that shop here and are so brainwashed they think that they're getting a good deal. As a professional couponer I can say this store is where my dreams go to die. If y'all started offering a free trip to Kirkland maybe I'd give you two stars because I still don't really understand what benefits you get with the premium membership you don't even get a free hotdog from the café.

Been going here since they opened. They still have some employees working here that started when the store opened. Always clean. Always low prices. Membership is worth it for the gas discounts alone. Absolutely no complaints.

Always well stocked and clean! The employees are fast at the register which is a bonus. The only piece of criticism I have is that the man who did an exchange I had months ago was not the friendliest. Maybe he was having a bad day, but his attitude was unnecessary.

I went to this warehouse for the first time, yesterday. Of course, the purpose of my visit was a few specific items. One of them was some wet cat food. Unfortunately, they lean towards dog owners, so the cat food selection was limited to two kinds of dry food and only one kind of kitty litter. More unfortunately, it wasn't the kind that works best for me. Well, I looked around and grabbed a few things I actually could use, like frozen pizza and rotisserie chicken and went to check out. Come to find out they only take visa or debit card for payment in the warehouse. Nowhere did I find this in registration online for a card. As a matter of fact, I paid for my membership with a Mastercard! Every credit card I had was Mastercard. I used my debit card, reluctantly. It's both inconvenient and irritating. In this day and age, I would think that all places like that would have a wide variety of payment options. Honestly, I want my money back for the membership.

Workers are rude and constantly have an attitude. There are always lines because workers are slow and don't appreciate having a job. Prices are unreasonable. There is no management

A typical Costco that's positively mobbed on the weekends. Very similar selection as other Costcos around the country - same hors d'oeuvres, same household goods, similar book selection, same rotisserie chickens, same ground meats in portions worthy of a small army... or just a typical Ohio family with kids on the football team. As for the produce, you might find better deals on organic produce than you would with non-organic items. One thing I noted was that there weren't as many items that would appeal to certain ethnic groups as there are in places like the Bay Area, where you can find a good selection of East and South Asian products. It's super busy at peak hours, but at least the chaos is somewhat controlled, whether at the registers or in the parking lot. It's all a no-frills mecca for mass consumption, but if you have a lot of mouths to feed, Costco gets the job done.

This is the place to go! After years of overspending on hearing aids for my parents, we found our way to Carly at the Costco hearing aid center in Mayfield Hts. She was overwhelmingly kind, and professional, fitting my 90 year old Father and recently my Mother. My mom’s situation was a bit difficult as she is completely deaf in one ear and very, very little hearing in the other. She had lost her hearing aid and is declining from Alzheimer’s. I don’t know how she managed, but Carly did it! It took several shortened appointments and cancellations as mom had a raw area in her ear canal that Carly found that needed to heal before a mould could be made. She persevered and we triumphed. When mom heard us say “I love you” the first time in months, we all cheered and got teary together. Carly is an audiologist that we hope is valued and appreciated by Costco Hearing AIDS as she is by me and my family! She is truly the best!

A recent investigation by Mercy for Animals into a chicken farm supplying wholesale grocery giant Costco revealed absolutely horrifying conditions. Tens of thousands of birds are spending their short, painful lives crowded together in sheds—many suffering from open skin sores and agonizing injuries related to their hyper-fast growth rates.
Whatever you eat, we can all agree that this is not okay. Costco needs to hear this from its customers and the American public.
