This Dollar General is a decent local store that has just about everything one could need. The store tends to be clean, organized, and tidy, though it can be very busy, making getting in and out a bit slow at times. Customer service is okay; it is a hit or miss. There are kind, wonderful, helpful, and efficient employees who are great at their jobs and handle customers respectfully. However, some feel the store could be better managed. While the surrounding neighborhood may be a bit sketchy, the store itself provides a convenient and usually positive experience.

This location is never open. There are employees inside sometimes but the door is always locked and never a sign on the door explaining why they are closed that day.

I have visited this store many times and I hate the fact that the store hours are incorrect because the doors are locked too often.. Seems as if someone is there but the doors are constantly locked. Please do better. I will start going to the Mayfield location this is not acceptable.
